Dad needs to be checked for dementia. Also, hope the locks were changed after Anna moved out. OP needed to do better PR with the extended family so Anna didn't have the high ground. Already lost a whole paragraph. Anyway, OP gets eviction papers for Anna after a year of a number of stunts, the final straw getting a locksmith to change the front door locks. OP gets a lawyer, serves the paperwork, Anna countersued and lost in court. Every time OP and Anna faced off, Dad got confused and ended up siding with Anna. He moved in with her after she left. OP finally did deep dive into the Internet and found her history and got first hand info from a former boyfriend, who sent records. Records were used to confront Anna, Dad, and OP's extended family (half were in Team Anna, the other Team OP) at a family gathering. Dad started crying, Anna stormed out. OP and Dad start therapy, Anna sends a vague threatening text to OP.

No. The dad should go with his girlfriend. If he had stayed with OP, then, the drama would have been repeated with the next girlfriend. What will happen when OP is older and starts a family? Will her family continue sharing her house with her dad's new family. That would be insane.
