For anyone wondering how it ends and if OP actually ends up killing himself, this is going to be a summarized version. So basically OP came to the realization that he should get some closure first and he stayed out the whole night on the train tracks, laying there not the whole night on the train tracks but the whole night outside and he came back and told his wife if he caught her and they went through the whole thing and he ended up starting to divorce her and throughout this, his mother found out and defended his ex-wife saying it was just a mistake and that he should find it in his heart to forgive her. So he cut ties with his mother, and about nine months later he ended up, finalizing the divorce with her after a long process of her being dramatic and so much more stuff. And if you’re wondering, what happened to his friend that she cheated with he has, not been able to be in contact with any of their mutual friends and the mutual friends are like shunning him to the side so there’s that closure. Mom went no contact with her and talk to her again to see if he could make it up to her one last time and turns out she wasn’t willing to change that after her supporting his ex-wife and so he cut her off completely. He still kind of in contact with his dad, but you know not really. So it’s been about a year since the whole debacle for him and now he has a psychiatrist who told him the past this in the past and to move on and he said much better place now and he’s glad he never ended it.
