Enjoy your videos, After watching your rear suspension tutorials the information you present seems so obvious once it is explained, it's like a light just gets turned on. It's hard to test on used up tires, once you knew the tires are bad , you lose confidence and that's no way to run down the track. PS I was stunned when you said I turned the RPM up to 8000, I was thinking you couldn't have meant 8000.

Great video Kevin! It was great to see the explanation of the changes made and then to see what effect they had. Can’t wait to see what a fresh set of slicks will do.

First, thanks for what you do! I'm wondering if your tire pressure is what's causing trouble. We had a tube frame big tire 2nd gen camaro years ago that weighed about 2500 w/drver and we got the best performance with 4-5 psi in the slicks. Could the combination of tire pressure and centrifugal force be reducing the contact patch on the big end ?
@jeffreydurham53422 жыл бұрын
Maybe I shouldn't say anything since you're about 6 tenths faster than we were with an aluminum head bbc!

It is possible especially with such a long instant center. Will keep the channel updated with what happens next outing. Go fast, go straight! Be SAFE!

What 4 link soft ware do you use ?
@sanger4402 жыл бұрын
Car is a beast! Surprised at how far forward you put the IC. Question for one of your white board discussions……what effect on traction DOWN TRACK does a lot of squat versus say some separation (150 % anti squat) have on big tire slick car? Thanks.
@FadetoBlack14632 жыл бұрын
It appears to drive left every time as well. Also have you moved away from your theory that racers with slicks should get closer to the anti squat line based on the your 4 link location with this car?
