Kevin I have Calvert suspension I got the whole setup the mono leaf springs the caltrac bars now the bracket that goes underneath the axle tube

Hey Kevin, Found this video useful for building a electric drag bike! What would you suggest for ideal traction? If over is +100, and under is under 100.. Would it be ideal at 95? Where is the math to sorting this? In my case my swing arm is .58" above the anti squat line, and the bike is unloading the rear shock fully and spinning very badly. I have ability to drop the pivot 2.6" below the anti squat line. Kinda a one or the other situation. I think this would be a step in the right direction?

Kevin I sent you a comment before I have 67 mustang with split mono leaf Calvert suspension I bought the qa1 coilover suspension kit I also bought the bracket from Nikki Bobby Incorporated which is Alex Taylor's fiance he calls it a gap bracket it's the bracket that goes underneath the leaf spring where the axle is instead of having one hole where the bar goes in it's got four and it also has a place where your coilover shock can go I was hoping you could tell me how come I'm not seeing a lot of leaf springs with coilovers that are going to these brackets I see coilovers with the stock position where they put the shocks at or it's mounting to the axle tube please get back to me and maybe give me some information thank you

Hey Kevin my name is Tom I have a Calvert suspension the split leaf the caltrac bars the shocks I'm sure you've heard of Alex Taylor well her boyfriend Nick Taylor has a company called Nikki Bobby Incorporated well he has these brackets that go underneath the leaf spring where the caltrac bars go under but you know where the one bar it's just got the one hole that's attached to the rear well he's got these brackets that have four holes instead of the one plus he has four adjustments for coilovers so I bought the qa1 coilover kit you know it comes with the bar you got to weld between the frame rails you know blah blah blah long story short is everything's going to fit between the frame rails it's not a narrowed rear I have a 67 mustang say I'm asking is is this better then what I had I mean it sounds like a silly question but I've never had coilovers and I'm hoping that this is going to make my suspension coming out of the hole and traction much better if you have any ideas please let me know thank you very much

It's funny how we were always told 3 meals a day and snacks in between. And now eating this way, were barely hungry. I've found that it's been harder to get out of that normal eating routine for work I've been doing my whole working life. Like only eating during my designated times. So I've been eating my eggs and bacon for breakfast and then fasting lunch and just walking during my lunch hour and then eating dinner if I'm hungry. Most of the time I am hungry of course. But I also eat breakfast at 8:30am. But I don't snack anymore!!

Hi Kevin, Ive been watching your videos and have a few questions.. I run a Suspended Top Dragster. The car typically runs in the high 4.20s. I run a Mickey Thompson 3197 "Big Bubba" tire. The engine makes about 1350 and the car weighs 1875 with me in it. I have 2 Penski canister style double adjustable shocks built by Eric Davis at Penski. My car seems to be very consistent, and does separate on the hit. It separates about .400 from the hit to the 1/8 mile stripe. Not all at once. The initial hit is about .125 then it slowley increases. My question is with a 250" dragster with no front suspension where would you like to see the IC? My bar angles with me in the car are about 1.5 degrees down on the bottom and about 12.5 down on top. I don't believe that would be below the squat line but it does still separate. Im interested to see what you think about this setup Thanks, Mike Sullivan

Ultimately where did you settle on shock adjusts for front and back, on compression and rebound?

Am i correct for thinking you always make adjustments on the right rear? How would a fella be able to tell if somthings just bound up or it has rear steer in it.

We have a store that went in a couple of months ago. They had advertised GRASS FED BEEF COMING SOON. I couldn't wait. When they opened I was so happy, I went in, my first question was it's grass finished too? She said no. The grains and the marbling story. We bought a few things and never went back. Their prices were so high as if it was grass finished. No thanks for me.

How does a rear end go "up" into the wheel well when you can clearly see the rim getting closer to pavement at the hit? Is it not possible that the rear of car is going down vs rear end going up? As the rear of chassis goes down the spring is getting compressed which increases the force pushing rear end down.
