Yeah we got out just in time before the major heat after they lifted the travel ban. We really enjoyed our stay particularly because there was nowhere else in the country to go. Thanks for watching and for commenting

Super helpful! What was the rationale on not going with the 20 or 22? In hindsight would you have gotten a different floor plan? We are about to embark on the exact same journey and can’t decide on the 19cb or 20FB. Any advice would be so helpful. Thank you for making this video.
@AngelinaMusik3 жыл бұрын
Michael, Angelina here, the 19' was a rental @ $2500 a month. 20FB because of how you have more kitchen counter space. When not using it rent it out. We personally have on hold a 30' Globetrotter RQB. I recommend a 25'-30''. Daniel adds ""imagine your daily work/life style and where each of you will 'be' when it's time to cook, bathe, etc...the floor plan should allow the most distance from each other".

This the best one to incorporate human feeling into RVing. We have a 19' FC and doing the weekend getaway during this pandemic. Yes, the attitude is the only way to change our life inside out.

Daniel and I are a husband and wife team, an 'enterprising couple'. Doing this since Feb of 2018 after closing our office and putting our belongings into storage. We're excited to return this 19' ft rental back its owner in May, when we're allowed to head back to OR without having to do a 14 day quarantine and move into our 30' Globetrotter.

Fun video! I've been dreaming of living the Airstream life ever since the pandemic. Sounds pretty good right about now! :-)
@scotomaville4 жыл бұрын
I appreciate you watching Jerry. Small trailers are selling off the lots. There's a waiting line for small Airstreams. You can simulate it by 'camping' in your bathroom, and getting outside to escape the small-space anxiety!. Your thoughts?

@scotomaville3 жыл бұрын
Not even close to these: salsacycles.com/bikes/timberjack/2020_timberjack_xt_29. We have a Trek Fuel and a Specialized Enduro. How about adding some videos to your channel, it looks suspiciously empty. For example, www.liverpoolfc.com/ Just a thought.

Your videos are excellent.. real full-time airstreamers in a 19 footer, which incidentally is the exact one I am considering. Did you install a lift kit?
@scotomaville4 жыл бұрын
This one is a rental from a friend in Bend, OR, so no, we've simply taken good care of it. You might look online to see if you can find a rental nearby to experience the length you are considering. That's what really helped make up our minds. We have purchased a 30' Globetrotter, but need to wait until travel restrictions lift so we can return the '19 Bambi, and get back to the new one. Thanks for the review. I appreciate the encouragement.
@AngelinaMusik4 жыл бұрын
No lift kit Thi yet - something for Daniel and I to consider once we get the 30' globetrotter. Here's a KZbinr we follow who has done it on theirs - kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWXWaKp-e5t4adk

The 19 foot Bambi is the perfect size, not too big not too small 🌼
@scotomaville3 жыл бұрын
You're 'on-target'. It's super easy to tow, fits into any campground, goes boondocking well and costs a lot less than what we're getting in a couple weeks. Well said Jimmie.

In France we leave the eggs outside the fridge... look into that..
@scotomaville4 жыл бұрын
That's a good suggestion. I mentioned that to my wife who is native German and she said they always left their eggs outside the fridge because the fridge was too small for the eggs. Are fridges in France even smaller than the one in the Bambi? I notice that Alex French guy cooking has a tiny kitchen so that might be so. kzbin.info On the other hand the eggs you get there might be fresher than the ones we buy at the grocery here!

We all appreciate your service. Yes, there is a 'game' afoot with the whole RV lifestyle and industry, but then again, homeownership is interestingly false security. We're in Oklahoma City picking up a 30 Globetrotter, so I guess the saying about 'You've made your bed, now lie in it.' gives away our hand. Thanks for commenting.
