I liked her, her dog & her cat. Not everyone will get this, but I SO respect the fact that she READ the anxiety of her companion animals in the Chinook and decided she would NOT subject them to that type of RV. I think many humans would have just said "get over it" or re-homed the animals but you could see the body language on Jasper! I never heard of the Base Camp before but I think even I could handle a towable that size. Thanks for letting us see this one, Kevin!

There are alternatives to litter I recently learned about. They're pellets make of pine and when they get wet they turn into dust and fall to the bottom. They're more eco friendly, mess-free, and cheaper than litter and don't smell at all. I don't know exactly what they're called, a friend told me about them when I was thinking of getting a cat but worried about the mess and smell of litter boxes. I babysat his kitty for a week in my home and hardly had to think about the litter box. Definitely check it out!

If anyone else has a 5th gen 4Runner like this and wants to tow with it, the 1GR-FE V6 has the most torque between 4000-5000 RPM. Don't be afraid to rev it that high if you have to. It will sound like the engine is just screaming but it will be totally fine. You can also get a supercharger for it now if you really want more power.

Gave me food for though, and Toyota 4 Runner's " ROCK in so MANY WAYS" I just turned 204,400 miles today on my 2006, and she still can tow. Glad I bought a 6 vs 8.
