The most important thing first: a speedy recovery and get back on your feet quickly! About the game itself: Unfortunately, we have to be happy with the point. If you look at how many good chances Wednesday missed... it could have been 5:2. Yesterday, the defense was anything but solid. We need to improve that very quickly. Otherwise, things will end badly against bigger teams.

You watch Wintles face at full time. He looks less than relieved for a point. The squad are showing their limitations and we have a weaker squad than last year hence the panic Hutch resign. I have no confidence in Gallen and James B plans. After last season he should realise we don't have many quality players and now wants to be an agency almost to make profits. Whilst a nice idea, we need a strong depth of championship players but we have 30 plus from years ago. The defense was a shambles and really didn't expect a point. Against a better side we'd have lost soundly. AN had better sort it out soon

Hello Dan I hope coburn is fit to play against Hull He is a good player and is a handful for defenders. We need to start to see if Kelly & Mayor can come in to the first team hungry young legs. I honestly believe this is not a manager issue, we have had enough managers over the past 5 years to work that out! This is a player issue, they need to believe in themselves a bit more because the football is shite but we know they can play when they turn up. Mitch is competitive, but his skill and control are that of a league one player. He's tough and loves the club, but he's out of his depth in the championship. Joe Bryan is an expensive liability. Since his injury and coming to us his bottle's gone and he's a sloppy defender. Pity no one else would have him now he's so crap. Dan, without Savs in the side we have a hole where a talented, hard player should be. Billy Mitch cannot play to Savs or de Norrie's standard.

Normally if you suggest that you can’t polish a turd someone pipes up that you can roll it in glitter. You can’t even roll the turd that is the Millwall FC playing staff in glitter. The quality isn’t there. This is down to the failure in recruitment i.e. Steve Gallen. Our two best players this season are Esse, a product of our own academy and Tanganga , a loanee who we subsequently picked up on a free transfer. Not one of the players recruited in the close season has stepped up to the mark. Yes we have been unlucky with injuries but Coburn and Scanlon have a reputation for being injury prone, Mihailovic actually arrived with an injury and we miss Emakhu , who was as good as a new player because Harris wouldn’t give him any minutes. We can’t keep playing the same players with the same high tempo get up and at them style over and over again. Eventually they will tire, run out of steam and the performance will drop off. That’s where we are at now. We got away with one today. On the plus side , our possession numbers were up, we matched them in the stats for total shots with at least as many on target. I’d like to see Neil push De Norre up into the No. 10. He has better control of the ball than most of our players and might prosper from being freed from his defensive shackles. I fancy him to pick better passes and be more penetrative. Something isn’t right at the heart of Millwall FC. I can’t put my finger on it but it’s not a happy club. Survival in this division has to be the goal now , then go again next season after a clear out .
