Great tour of Savannah!! I’m loving little Daisy playing chase and doing little tricks! She’s such an adorable little girl and gets soooo excited when y’all get home. When you left her in the truck at one point, she stood up on her back feet and craned her neck to find you and see where you were going. Thanks for letting us share your journey!!

Oh goodness, I am in love with Daisy. She is absolutely adorable. I have two little fur babies, Buddy and Scooter. They are little Chihuahua's. I inherited them when my mom passed away six years ago. At the time I had a little female Chihuahua named Sassy and when she passed away four years ago I was glad I had Buddy and Scooter. I really believe our little fur babies are little blessings from God. Oh Yeahhhhh

Beautiful area! You took some great footage. We definitely will put Savanna Ga on our must see list. I was born in Buffalo, NY then when I was 10 yrs old my family moved to the Miami/Ft Lauderdale Fl area. We always stopped in Ga on our family summer trips back to Buffalo. Now, I live in Pittsburgh, Pa & miss Florida. One of the great things about the RV lifestyle, is that you bring your home with you as you travel. Sleeping in your own bed & having all your stuff with you is another. Love your content! Thanks for all you do.

Savannah is one of my favorite US cities. There are surprise treats on every corner. So much music, art, history and fun energy there. Wonderful golf courses at various price points and skill level. This is definitely one of my favorite locations video so far with perfect music choices. I do think little Daisy may need her own blog soon...Daisy’s journey... I don’t think you mentioned riding out to Hilton Head but you may do so one your way to Charleston. If not, HH makes for a nice day trip. Thanks for sharing your journey. Great job all around.

Loving your videos! We live about 10 miles from the Reidsville park - they just renamed it “Jack Hill State Park” after our Senator who passed away in 2020. Thanks for covering this park! It was our “maiden voyage” stay when we purchased our RV last year. Someone recommended that we stay for a weekend near our house to get a feel for the RVOur town, Glennville Ga, was the original producer of the onions, but Vidalia jumped on the marketing! Great review of Skidaway park. We have been contemplating staying there. We cannot wait to retire to go full time on the road! I have a job that I can work remotely, but my husband doesn’t. :( Hopefully 2-3 more years!

Sorry I'm just seeing this now. A great place to visit in the Savannah area is The Mighty Eighth in Pooler. That's the museum of the 8th Air Force. The "Savannah for Morons" Trolley tour is hilarious. And you might as well head on down I-95 and visit the Golden Isles of Georgia. We'll treat you to the best fried shrimp in the world, teach y'all a proper southern accent, and how to pronounce Vidalia and Altamaha. We grew up on Saint Simons Island, about 70 miles further down the coast. Great episode. Fly Navy.

Tara, as for your monthly prescriptions, I have also 7, I asked my doctor to give me 3 month supply at a time, this minimizes my visits to CVS drive-thru. I like that we see a lot of Daisy, she's your baby. I'm a dog lover, and my dog follows me everywhere I go, I traveled for my work. I drove a few times FL to Canada (car no RV) but I'm thinking toy hauler now. Like the Indian too.

Hi guys you’re always doing such a good job of posting what I particularly enjoy, is the touring videos. I had my first vacation in 15 years vicariously through you. I also suffer from an autoimmunity, Systemic Lupus. So I know where you’re coming from when you say you’re done for the walking if you had to do a lot that day. But watching your vacationing segments brings little tears to my eyes as I see myself there. I used to ride but when I got sick it was severe including 2 days of heart attacks at age 47. Had to sell my Goldwing, brick my heart. Which brings me to my question du hour, does the Indian have a reverse gear? I’m currently feeling like I could ride a bit now and then as I continue to improve. No getting away from the drugs though. I’ve been researching the HD FLHTK. Still a lot to study but I have yet to see that it has a reverse. The Goldwings do though. For now I am going back on vacation with you, thank you so very much!!

VegInspired Thank you! We really like to book our stays as far in advance as possible. Right now, we are booked through mid December. So many places I’d love to see! Where do you get the music to accompany your vids? I love it!
@ChangingLanes
@ChangingLanes 5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! We get asked fairly often about how to get the music in our videos. We use EpidemicSound.com for all of our music under a creators license (royalty free). We reached out to them about individual purchases and they indicated they were working to get the whole library into iTunes but it will take some time. We do know that some of the tracks are there, but many are not. Best way to find out is to use the Shazam app or ask Siri "what's this song" (Siri uses Shazam) as the music part plays in our video. If it's available, Shazam should recognize it and show you where you can download it.

Hey Guys, great stuff. My wife and I really enjoy watching change lanes. Question, since you drink so much, thought of putting in a micro-brew in the toy hauler?? LOL.. On a serious note, in all the parks you have been to so far, have you been in a situation to where space did not allow you to open up the "back porch" where you do all your drinking.
@ChangingLanes
@ChangingLanes 6 жыл бұрын
Nah! Too many cool local brews to try! 😎 Of our 35 or so camps this year, we've only had an issue putting the rear porch down at one site. We had to drink on the ground there.. ON THE GROUND! Oh the humanity! LOL Safe travels and thanks for watching! 😀

What do you do with Daisy when you're not in the RV? Do you leave her? Any concerns about the AC going out while you're gone?
@ChangingLanes
@ChangingLanes 6 жыл бұрын
We never stray too far away and we use MarCELL: amzn.to/2zoWKah It monitors power, temperature, and humidity, and even has a "puck" you can pair with the system to monitor for water leaks. It does require service, which is $99/yr. You set thresholds (high and low) online for both temperature and humidity and define notification methods (text / email) all online. Then, when anything is amiss, both Tara and I get emailed and texted immediately. You can also check the temp and humidity online. Thanks for watching!

We also just installed an AGS (Auto Generator Start) but need to test it. The idea is that the inverter will kick in if power fails, and if the power stays off and batteries get low, the generator will start up, run the ACs and charge the batteries.... that's the plan, anyway... 🐶

Hey guys, not sure how I came across your site but I like it. We have a lot of the same interests. Traveling, RVing and motorcycles. We travel and we ride, just need to work on the RV now. So Tara, do you mind sharing your symptoms ref the Lyme disease? I took have it. How long did you have it before being diagnosed? I was lucky enough to catch it quickly however since being diagnosed, my 2 biggest issues have been fatigue and idiopathic urticaria (hives of unknown origin).
@ChangingLanes
@ChangingLanes 6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for reaching out! Sorry to hear of your struggles with Lyme (and probably co-infections, too) I am glad to hear that you caught it quickly! It took me about 2 years to figure out what was going on. Since it took so long to find the right doctor who understood what was wrong, it had spread to nearly every soft tissue in my body and to my neurological system. They found multiple other tick-born illnesses (erlichia, babesia, bartonella and more...) My neuro symptoms were/are severe muscle spasms, stabbing nerve pain, migraines and a lot of vertigo issues. I struggle with debilitating fatigue everyday and am usually laying in the recliner or resting in bed. If we do get out for a ride or to sightsee, I usually pay for it the next day (but I think it's worth it Lol) I usually have pain - almost everywhere it seems, but mostly in my legs and upper back. Joint stiffness, too. Luckily, I don't have the issue of the hives like you do. From everything that I have learned, everyone reacts differently from Lyme and it also depends what else the tick was carrying. For me, it's systemic and has now messed up my immune system, which has cause chronic mono and Thyroid disease. I am lucky to have found a medical practitioner who understands how to treat all of this. I had 9 months of IV medication and two stem cell treatments. I believe that those two treatments are the reason why I am able to get out in explore and enjoy life. Living int our RV full time has brought me so much happiness and has helped my mental state so much!! And the great thing is, I have my bed with me wherever we go!! Hahahaha! Best of luck on finding your RV and starting on your journey!!! Keep us posted! :)

Wow, so sorry to hear how Lyme has affected you. Glad to know you have a practitioner that's staying on top of things. I'm sure being so positive and living the RV life is also helping.
