I lost my mom this year and that officially makes me an orphan. My dad passed when I was a baby. Watching this made me tear up. My mom was my biggest supporter and she passed in February the day after my birthday. I move into my van on Tuesday. I know she is proud of me and excited, but seeing you with your parents made me really emotional. Love them so much. Hug them plenty. The feeling of having them with you to alleviate some anxiety is such a blessing. Sending so much love. Your videos are so great to watch.

Thank you Lindsay ❤️ this made me sad to read, I’m sorry that both your parents have passed, that sucks... ( I find it hard to watch people with their grandmas because I miss mine so much💔). That’s awesome that you’re moving into a van too! Your mum sounds like she was a wonderful person and I’m absolutely certain that she is right by your side and very proud of you (I whole heartedly believe that no one ever truly leaves us)❤️🥰

First time I've watched this channel, and I was blown away. I've tried to watch a few van life accounts, and found them pretty dull. But this one--bingo! Different level. Subscribed. Just the standard of filming and editing. The speed of the edits, the angles. There are so many brilliant KZbin film makers, but few yet rival television professional production teams. Here, though, I like the way the editing cuts fast--something we're more used to on television. And having worked making films through the 90s, I know just how much painstaking hard work it takes to edit. I can understand why most KZbinrs, having gone to the trouble of setting up cameras, over-milk the resulting footage. So hats off for often going to so much trouble here just for a brief snippet in the final edit. Makes watching feel so lively and unpredictable. Nothing's allowed to outstay its welcome. But when a lengthier, unobtrusive section is required, as when the family discusses van life, the situation is allowed to breathe. Was particularly impressed by the sequence filmed in the two moving vans simultaneously. Such skill on show here, both in the setting up of the twin cameras and the subsequent dovetailing of the sequence, which was cinematically done. The best editing takes place in advance, in a sort of mental storyboard. It's a rare skill, almost a gift. I also like that Ame doesn't seek to flatter herself. Most KZbinrs try to appear in their best light, or to paint their flaws as charming. But Ame shows herself being moody and petulant at times. So she comes over as a complex character, which is a good thing. Not having looked at the rest of the episodes, I've no idea why she's vanlifing: she's not fitting the stereotype. For me, there was even a moving moment, when Ame said she was feeling sleepy and put it down to being with her parents and therefore safe. That constant edginess and alertness of camping alone was suddenly absent. It seemed like a live moment of intuition.

I agree Ame is so down to earth. Its real. So many people vanlifers just smile and laugh constantly showing this perfect pretend life that is the biggest fairytale. I love this channel. Its real and wonderful. If you are having a moment of any kind, you say so. It's so damn refreshing. Thank you so much. 💓

I do believe she has the kind of fortitude and disposition that allows her to do what she does, all the possible lurking dangers of solo vanlife notwithstanding. After all she is very young and healthy, and this must transcend to her current attitudes. Still to her and to those watching, the scary episode about a stalker must have been traumatic. And she also has that special maybe innate skillset to create interesting and professional-looking videos. And of course, because she is such a physically attractive person many watch her work with interest. Same way we love and watch movies, videos about celebrities, shows, etc. More power and success to her endeavors.
