Living in the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 In today's video we're giving a full tour of our apartment rental near the beach in Cabarete, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. This apartment is just a minute walk to the beach and features one bedroom and a loft. Outside there is a shared pool. This video gives a little bit of insight into our daily lives, where we live and what we do each day. We also make dinner and watch Netflix.

I am from the South side of DR and my husband is from the North side of DR, Santiago, so we always enjoy driving down to Cabarete to enjoy the Beach and eating delicious fried fish by the water. Awe thanks! Rent varies depending on high season Vs low and the amount of bedrooms etc. The low end is around $1200 long term but it goes way higher for bigger units 👍 - Trevor

Hi guys!! Great job as always!! If you guys decide to go to la Galera in Samana… there is a place named Villa Salamandra!!! A breathtaking Airbnb. Another thing, I know many people have told you guys to go to Bahia de las águilas, but I won’t recommend that as right now because there are a lot of constructions going on there. In a year from now will be a better idea of visiting.

Still loving your videos! If you go back to Las Terrenas, there are two beautiful beaches that i visited las august. Playa Coson is breathtaking vey quiet also Playa Bonita also very beautiful but a little more crowded. And if you like adventure there is this beautiful water fall call Salto de Limon. To get to the water fall you will be on a horse with a guide of course and you will also have a little hiking to do. Have a wonderful time! Enrique ( Retired in Sosua)

I dont know if you went to Atlantis in Las Terrenas but omg the food was so incredible. Please go and eat their pasta...very romantic ambience at night right on the water on the Playa Bonita boardwalk. And if you havent been to the Bonita Beach at the end like allllll the eay down from playa bonita, you can get there easily on the road behind Atlantis, or you can walk past Atlantis and go around the curve. Best beach hands down in Las Terrenas.

We've not been to Atlantis but we know Bonita and that beach you're talking about. It's amazing right?! 🤗 But believe it or not we found better beaches about 15 mins east of the town centre. Some really unknown ones and all white sand with no one there. We have videos on those spots from a year or so ago - Trevor

Love Cabarete and all the beach restaurants, along with the kite surfing! Your place looks nice! We will be staying in Cabarete this winter and would love to have the delivery service from the local calmados you mentioned. However, I think you said 5,000 pesos for delivery? Do the beach restaurants in Caberete charge the 28% tax plus 10% tip? We are going back for 2 months the end of January to Las Terranas again. We met you both last year there.

Depends on the restaurant but it’s 18% tax and there’s usually a 10% tip built into the price on top as a line item. It does depend on the place and it’s not just a Cabarete thing. That’s across the DR 😀 - Anna
