2:54 Hi, great to watch your videos, i owned my mates dads sienna for 6 years, but sadly had to sell her in 2018 she was beginning to need to much work, always needed some welding at the drivers seat belt post and then some sill work, corner bumper bolts where rusting away, the whole braking system needed done and the rear suspension was sagging a bit, he had it for 10 years before me, it was a 2.0l diesel and was gettimg to slow for todays impatient drivers when i started to go uphill ( even though i wasn't in a hurry 😅 ) , also the fuel tank needed a good clean out as when it got down to quarter of a tank it would cough and splutter, but all in all i had some fantastic times with her, learning lots of little quirks and doing my odd fix to her, i mangaed to do the nc500 4 times and had countless trips to skye and glencoe all throughout the year, had a vango airbeam awning as well as the original fiamma awning too, lots of great times i used to set up whole bed but still wake up sqeezed into a corner whilst a snoring border collie was sprawled out like a queeen 😂😂😂 K reg 2.0l diesel.

Thank you for a great message ☺️ I only sold mine due to needing more space with my dog. It was especially hard when we had bad weather and he was wet in such a small van. Tbh, I'd have kept The Doctor otherwise as she was in fabulous condition. I sold her to a young guy in the end who was going to travel, but at the time of buying my van he hadn't even passed his driving test 😳 He had to drive it home from Spain to the UK with his dad 😂 I'm thinking of the NC500 and the Wild Atlantic Way maybe later this year. Just depends where we end up around May time as we need to stay in Europe for Koa's booster vaccinations. Hopefully you'll keep following our little journey 😉 Rich & Koa.

We agree! 'The Doctor' is the perfect pocket rocket. Totally self sufficient and fits in to all kinds of places other vans can not reach! 😀

@@CampervanCasa I understand that you need more space. It must be hard to sell a lovely van with so much character. All the best with your van search.

Mines a 1993 Talbot Symphony. Like your top windows, mine are slider ones. Mine's in good nick too and luckily I'm married to an old school mechanic for when things may go wrong! Your layout is completely different to mine. Shows how many layouts they can get out of such a tiny space. You have a nice clean looking van. You've inspired me to do my van tour if the rain ever goes away. I've had it 16 months and not done one yet.

Looking forward to your van tour now 😉 I'll be buying my next van at the end of September and then we're off for a year or 2 around Europe 🙌🏼

We had one of these!! They are fantastic vans. Ours was called the Clownwagon…..our children had expected a cool Vdub-type camper- but we turned up with one of these….”you’ve bought a Clownwagon”….they didn’t complain when we went down to Cornwall almost every weekend in the summer holidays though! Driving it was a bit like cycling- speed up on the downhills, crawl up the hills😂. So lovely to see you keeping it going. ❤

I loved my road trip in The Doctor, but have now sold her. I'm currently looking for my new van to then set off on a 1 / 2 year European trip. Hopefully new videos starting in October so stay tuned. PS: definitely want something that has little more get up and go for hills! ;)

Rambler (harmony, symbol, symphony) are all Talbot and later Peugeot from Auto Sleepers, Not to be confused by any models from Auto homes. Very different companies and designer.

Wow! Binged watched you lol... Love The Doc!! My partner and I bought a Talbot. Ours is the motorhome type. I guess we have spent around a year sorting it. 45k miles on the clock. Last Mot passed with no advisories!! 1989!! It certainly gives us the extra space the Doc doesn't. We also have the power steering upgrade 🤣 can't wait for the next videos mate. Oliver 👍😎

Hey Oliver. Glad you liked the videos. I've actually now sold The Doctor and she's back in the UK. Already looking for my next van which will be bigger like yours so actually a motorhome. I definitely want more space for Koa, a permanent bed and ideally a separate shower 🙏🏼 I'll start some more videos probably around September time as that's hopefully when I'll be hitting the road again. Having said that once I actually view some vans I'll 💯 document it. Enjoy your travels. Rich & Koa.

The Doctor is a tiny house that I would love to live in seasonally as I travel around the country in spring, summer and/or fall. It is amazing that it was created in 1983. I’ve never seen anything as efficient in the States where I am. I would buy it in a heartbeat. ❤️ Mo in the US

Hello. My wife and I have the exactly the same van. Ours is called Freddy. Ours is a 1992 on a K plate. We have a drive away awning with a pod for sleeping. We are a family of 6 and love the camper life. Heres to seeing many more videos from you.

WOW! I've never seen or heard of another Sienna 🎉 What colour scheme do you have? I also have a drive away awning, but as it's just Koa and I, plus we're moving either every day or every other day we don't use it. Lovely to hear about your van ❤

Hi. I think the best place to buy these little classic vans is in the UK unfortunately. There are always some for sale in varying conditions on the likes of eBay. They're not expensive, but do need to be looked after well. Obviously in the UK it would be right hand drive 🙈 Good luck 🤞🏼

@@CampervanCasa Bonjour ^=^ Thank you very much for your kind reply. I used to live in London for my English studies back to 2001-2007 till my Cambridge Proficiency. So, dealing with sellers in the UK would not be an issue but unfortunately all my friends are now gone so housing would then be the biggest issue. It may take some time to find the right one and could not afford housing for long enough.... What is teh type or chassis number, refernce i should look up pn E-bay please? As I used to dive teh London's double deck fro London United buses no worry with side's drive^=^ best regards
