Absolutely stunning again. 👍 I've recently started modeling again (I don't have an airbush yet) and I've found that using a cotton bud to rub over the parts after brush painting levels out the brush strokes and produces a reasonable finish. I recently built a Revell 1/72 Lancaster, amd as I'm sure you know there is a vast amount of black on the underside. So after watching a few videos from modelers like yourself I went back and used a mixture of tamiya acrylics xf1 black, xf17 sea blue and xf84 dark iron in varying amounts to add tonal changes to random panels and I'm really happy with the subtle differences. I'm learning that it's quite often the things that you don't immediately see that make the difference when painting a model.

Thanks a lot!! It's great to have you back in the modeling. Black color is always problem. There are a simple principle about it to make good black models: DONT USE BLACK 🙂 use gray tones instead. Cheers👍🏻👍🏻

I love the fact that you do original schemes. Not too many out there doing a Turkish P47. Overall you did a great job. But. Don't kill me. Lol. The cowling is over done with the paint chipping. I think it detracts from a fantastic weathering job on the wings and fuselage

Turkish Air Force almost used all type of fighter after WWII, American, German and British planes. They are mostly not know as you said. The cowling: 🙂 yes i agree, but weathering is always fun👍. Many thanks!! 🤝

I am not sure real one is same because lack of references, but…weathering is always fun🙂🙂🤟 Thanks a lot!!..

Great looking build. I love the chipping work. It's heavy ( maybe heavier than you'd see in real life ), but it adds a lot of life to an otherwise simple paint scheme.

Many thanks!! 🤝 Yes, weathering is not representing real one, actually i dont know, there is no good reference. I just wanted to show some weathering techniques that i mostly use.👍👍

Beautiful work, well done! I use oil paints to do the panel variations. And it never occurred to me to just use the original panels as their own masks. And to make sure the colours and weathering is consistent.
@ugurkenel2 ай бұрын
Yes, oil paint is an alternative, it is much easier to apply, but it is very delicate until you varnish it, it can be ruined with the slightest touch. It is a bit more laborious, but I prefer to do the same job with acrylics.

The decal at 11:46 belongs on the flap not on the wing. It tells the pilot what angle the flaps are set at. thought you should know. Very nice build though .

Hi Master..for small decal panels also use micro set n sol and if is so, this is do not make any lack sight around decals? Second question.. when you use wash did you put before varnish? P47 look awesom💪🤩
@ugurkenelАй бұрын
Hi. I didnt understand first question sorry. Second question: Glossy varnish for panel line wash is good, satin or matt varnish is good for filtering, lighten or darken the panel color and standart weathering.

Üstadım sormamın sakıncası yoksa... ne marka maskeleme bandı kullanıyorsunuz ?
@ugurkenel3 ай бұрын
Markası yok hocam. Bir kaç sene önce, hani şu bazı avm’lerde olan, çin mallarının satıldığı dükkanlarından almıştım. Aşırı ucuz ama iş görüyor.

It is clearly seen at 12:01 and it is DDT-01028 Turkish Flag and Insıgnıa set from Babibi Decal.
