Mrs. Guerrero has a right to be mad. Shana tried to use the fact that Mr. and Mrs. Guerrero were Latino against them. Accused them of drinking, accused them of being criminals. All in her early attempts to protect herself. These are behaviors she's had for a while, it's one of self preservation. Mrs. Guerrero didn't fall for it, she saw right through her. She's a pretty bright woman, I do hope that Mrs. Guerrero considers a career in Law, she would make an exceptional prosecuting attorney. A very powerful impact statement. She has every right to feel the way she does! Very strong woman! I pray this starts the healing process for her because it’s going to be a long road. But continued anger and un-forgiveness toward someone still gives that person some what of control of your life. So I hope she forgives so that her heart can find some peace. The forgiveness is NOT for the defendant; it’s solely for this woman.

I feel so bad for the victim. But you need to forgive so you can move on. But how in the world do you move on from this?😢
