@33482 Xenomorphs take the traits from their hosts. Human birth Xenomorphs like Drones and Warriors are 7'2 ft tall and are physically stronger than humans. They are strong enough to cave in metal doors. Climb and stick to any surface and are much smarter than people think they are their not basic animals. Plus only reason we see Xenomorphs died to the marines is because the pulse rifle fires explosive armor piercing rounds. Fire and heat is not really a weakness either because a Runner Xenomorph survive being Drowned in molten hot lead and Runners are weaker than human Xenomorphs. The Predalien was bigger, stronger than both Yautja and human Xenomorphs comparable to a Praetorian Xenomorph, plus Predaliens take the mandibles and dreadlocks from it's Yautja host. Space marines are genetically enhanced Super soldiers who were once normal humans. So if a xenomorph was born from a Astartes it would probably look similar to a drone but bigger I would say 9 feet tall way more powerful and its biomechanical carapace would be much more durable, I wouldn't be surprised it can heal itself to. it would literally be the ultimate perfect lifeform.

Just from a leverage perspective it will have a choir getting free of the host. Maybe climb back up the neck and out there since we are assuming the helmet would be missing to allow implantation. Also assuming the immune system of the marine and all the extra bits wouldn't neutralize the implanting material.

Unviable. An Astartes cannot exist naturally, many organs have to be lab grown and inserted. The existing genetic information would be insufficient. The alien would probably die soon after killing the marine.

honestly, if the imperium and the empire worked together they would be almost unstoppable. I mean the 5 greatest things holding back the imperium are travel speed, communications, automotive technology, and food supply. Things the empire have in full, where as the empire could really use a strong central figure head, the best troops period, and ungodly amount of armies.

That said, it isn't impossible that they have comparable numbers to the Imperium. They are both in more or less control of comparably sized human dominated galaxies.

The rebel alliance wasn't exactly known for its massive infantry force either so having an overwhelming standing army of grunts as a counter wasn't a priority in the empire even if the population likely could have supported it. Much more of the empire's military was probably devoted to logistics, police and planetary defense than expeditionary forces.

I was really expecting a different ending (needed another line break for spoilers) I was expecting the Guardsman to bayonet charge while the Stormtrooper and Tau shot each other But the Stormtrooper would do as Stormtroopers do, miss horribly and shoot the Guardsman Who then falls and, because he's not a Tau, still stabs the Tau because Tau can't melee lmao But the Tau actually manages to shoot the Stormtrooper because he's a competent shot at ~10 feet And either all 3 of them die, or they lay there injured but alive and yelling at the other two for being morons
