@@jonsimmons4150 No, the fairies are your friends, not mine. As mentioned in the soundtrack... This little carbied Holden donk is to be bolted into a fairly well sorted LX Hatchback. You can have your overcomplicated, predeveloped exoticar tinpot junk. Modern engines designed with multiple cams, computerised fool injection & all sorts of other you beaut technological variable fiddlyarse trinkety crap are usually fully developed before they hit the road & any comic book wanker can insert a hotrod chip to make them go fast. I would've expected horsepower and torque numbers closer together out of a naturally aspirated engine. Impressive horsepower numbers even if torque isn't ideal. Reminds me a bit of a Honda the way it revs and makes power way out in the rev range.

Torque not ideal really? Almost 600 foot pounds from 6000 up is bloody awesome and I bet it still punches pretty hard below that. What would you consider ideal?
@sv.motorsports Жыл бұрын
youd be surprised what it feels like in the real world. My own car makes peak torque of only 460nm @ 6000rpm... but it still has great acceleration from 2.5k onwards.. redlines at 8800.. it boogies
@victorpeirce4753 Жыл бұрын
*@jeremypike9153 What the hell are you talking about??...It makes 6OO foot/pounds which is 813 Newton Metres so the power and torque are close together so it's more than ideal.*

I can tell you HP and Torque are identical at 5252 rpm ! Lol. As is the case in all motors ever made !
@sv.motorsports Жыл бұрын
@@victorpeirce4753 yeah but its at high rpm.. i think he means that it would be lacking at 2k and below.. which probably isnt the case anyway
