The biggest thing that will help them sell is having a few people available to call. Just tried to call the California location after watching and got no answer. Being able to directly talk about a customers goals and requirements is paramount in making sales to the general public.

In Australia you can call them and they answer every time.

Smart guy. Roughly 20 years ago the mod in the UK developed software for cfd. It was available for £80k. They had 5 guys working on it for 6-7 years by 2004 and were still learning and No. crunching, when they were forced to down size the No off staff.

Hey, its the guy from haltech!

Props for actually not bullshitting about the realities of modern day manufacturing...

One thing which they haven't leveraged and really should is using priority wastegate positioned as a variable AR turbo system to have parallel exhaust flow - TurboSmart you are perfectly positioned to start thinking about it!
@RRninja-jq6lp3 сағат бұрын
So basically, a qsv(quick spool valve) directly integrated into the hot side ?
@Upperfoot3 сағат бұрын
@RRninja-jq6lp Would only need a well designed manifold that prioritised the wastegate flow first before the turbine

Thanks for the video HPA, Ive been interested in these since they came out but tbh I feel a bit like they havnt taken it too seriously. The turbosmart website doesnt show all the models and variants and finding out infomation is difficult. For example Im keen on the 6870 large frame but it appears to be only offered in 0.96 in the t4, what if I want to put a larger rear housing in the future say 1.20 or similar. Same goes with say the 6870 small frame and its rear housings, HPT do a t3 1.10 housing but its not listed on turbosmart website either. As well as by now I would have expected alot more dyno testing videos but only a few. Obviously they are selling them all and dont need to be serious Im guessing. Also FYI turbosmart, its absolutley shit that customers cant just come into your Sydney shop and buy products / find out more info on these things.

Are these not just HPT turbos (founder of precision) with a turbosmart logo on it?

I think so.

Rather than just shooting from the hip, have a compare and note what is said around 9:10. From there chat to your trusted supplier of either option and work out what suits you best 😎 - Taz.

He did an interview about leaving haltech. New owner wants to mass produce smaller ecus for specific markets rather then focus on progression.

Turbosmart and haltech are owned by the same parent company. I believe they also own ,,je pistons" and some camshaft company.

@RRninja-jq6lp RWB owns Haltech yes, but they don't own Turbosmart. They probably wouldn't mind having it on the books though for sure 😂 - Taz. www.racewinningbrands.com/our-brands/
