I agree with Adam, I turn up to OT 10 mins before kick off, go to my seat, watch the game, go home. I don't know what people expect from a football stadium. My only complaint is shoulder room, I have to sit at a 45 degree angle most of the time.

If Barca and RM can redevelop their stadia to be the world class thig s they are, we can figure it out... Could we trade land to acquire the land on otherside of tracks and pay to relocate the tracks? Cant we get to like 90k capacity by adding seapts on SBC stand and its corners? I know it wont be easy but history is really hard to replace and replicate...you can make new history but until you do the place could be soulless... I like the fact that United plays in this historic place with all this history attached to it, just like the other 2 teams with a claim to being the "greatest team in the world".

Bruno's passing accuracy isn't the problem. It's lack of positional discipline and when he wanders and chases the ball like a 12 year old, we lose shape instantly. Then the missed passes starts to climb. His desperate running deep and chasing the ball in second half lost us any chance of winning the game. He has to be better. Sit in the pockets in midfield, find space, play those great passes. Then we're firing. Players around him can predict his play better from there too.

The difference on the 20 year outdated argument is there wasnt really any tech let alone tech guys to design it in the 90’s. Nowadays theres a much deeper understanding on how to future proof technologies and to be honest theyre probably working on designs to launch in 10-20 years time so theyre always ahead of the curve so they will at least have some idea on what direction to plan for

I personally believe that history of a club lies with fans and not in a structure. One can’t look forward to the future when one’s living in the past. We shall hold our glorious past in our hearts while moving into the future. The old Trafford regeneration involves moving the trainline, that has been confirmed in the plans. No need to move the stadium. You can spend the £2b modernising old Trafford, like Real Madrid have with the bernabeau.

All it needs is the Upgrade of the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand & East & West quadrant to complete the original design & a Levelled Retractable New Roof + modern refurbishment of the rest of the stadium to warrant at least 90K capacity Take Note: The stadium expansion MUST NOT exceed the rail track Let's complete the Old Trafford Stadium, we feel with 1bn budget in 18 month to 2 years copying Real Madrid project with the right people it can be achieved in line with progress on the pitch cos we deserve more! People/fans need to understand SJR will only be backing this with his money only when he buys all of United and becomes a majority owner . Can United afford to build a new stadium? That is the question, now Burnham, Mayor of Manchester, scouser, said there will be no government funding for the stadium at all. The Real Madrid Stadium regeneration plan may be the likely course for United. Real Madrid's Bernabeu stadium renovation costs stand at €1.76bn and took around 5 years to complete. The stadium is expected to be paid off by 2053, representing an average annual cost of €66million, by which time another regeneration will be needed. Perhaps instead of looking at Madrid or San Diego for stadium ideas United should look at Qatar, The Lusail Stadium opened in 2022 and cost about 600 million and holds 80,000. A large migrant work force was used for construction, albeit the Guardian claims 6,700 died during construction.
