7:20 My image still looks bad after trying this exposure reduction. It gets darker but not balanced and colourful. Any help? thanks! Im using UE5.3.

I’d check the settings on your render. Sounds like you have a LDR image.

@@imaginingPhysics it’s the setting for the render in MRQ. it needs to be a floating point EXR without tonemapping applied.

Are you looking at the same camera in both? If not it sounds like a camera exposure issue.

Your tutorial helped me a lot. However, if you put it in a sequencer and output it as a PNG sequence, the 'Post Process' function is not applied. Is there a way to solve this?

The camera in the sequencer can look different from the default view with the PostProcess volume. Take a look at this video, it may help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaPLlX5piqufhrc

where I'm stuck i don't know how to change field of view of the panoramic rendering in Unreal i played with the values under advanced section but nothing happens how horizontal and vertical FOV work?

The field of view is the angular extent of the observable world that is seen at any given moment. For a panoramic camera that is 360 degrees. So there is no FOV because the virtual camera sees everything.

I have a similar project but on mine, the car is static to the camera (camera is following the car) and the background enviroment whizzes by on the back. What would be the best approach for setting up the scene? Should I animate the enviroment whizzing by while the camera and the car stay put?

I'd take the same approach that they would in film: moving car with camera attached.

can i render an image sequence HDRI? so if I animate the camera can I get a moving HDRI?

Yes I believe you can. I’ve never done it though.

sir what is your pc specs. I have 3070 and 16 gb ram but when i am press the render it does not matter what resolution i am using it is crashing my whole pc. idk why . Even i tried on the blank project and same thing happend.

Excuse me but can I ask you if everything can be done in unreal engine without using maya?

I guess that depends. There are some things Unreal does better, and some things Maya does better. This workflow takes advantage of the strengths of both programs. It’s like eating with a fork and spoon. You could eat with just one, but why not use both?

@Derek Flood the reason why I'm asking is because I just started learning unreal engine and I was hoping that I would be able utilize it to do basically everything without having to learn a complex 3d graphics application like Maya. I also started taking some courses in Blender but my main goal is to be able to make films and animation by using only one application.

@@meowchat6175 UE does not really have tools for doing things like modeling, rigging, or animating. You'd need to do that in a DCC app like Maya or Blender.
