You can buy flexible smooth interior hose that would solve the buildup problem. Great setup.

NarrowIsThe Gate So I’ll be honest I had not considered the F&FB option prior as I was only considering the Mark7 or Ammobot. My bench was custom built and it’s high. Had I used the Ammobot my press would’ve sit far too high for me to ever keep an eye on powder and other functions of the press while in motion. I love the Mark7 and love the GUI interface it’s advanced and far ahead all others.

What is the last die on your tool head doing? The one with the long decapping pin. Thanks for the videos.
@SpartanArmament2 жыл бұрын
Full length resize. I left the decapping pin although the decap truly happens in Station #2.

will you go over your die setup on the trimmer?

Is that just straight PVC coming off the trimmer shroud before the flexi hose? Looks gread
@SpartanArmament4 жыл бұрын
Steve Mason Correct just straight up PVC and then the corrugated hose. I am going to try and plumb PVC back to the vacuum. The hose collects the shavings and it clogs. It’s a pain in the ass to clean.
@SteveMasonTV4 жыл бұрын
@@SpartanArmament The shorted corrugated possible is best. I havent figured out how to run mine yet either. That toolhead looks great - I have already purchased the Dillon though. I am thinking of doing something like this for dust collection and maybe that will prevent some of the clogs kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZ3GXpeid657qpo

Whats the cost and whats the shop vac for
@scotttipps81553 жыл бұрын
Shopvac is to pickup the small brass pieces from the trimming process
@SpartanArmament3 жыл бұрын
$5,500 or so. Shop Vac is to collect the brass shavings from trimming down the cases.

What type of cutter are you using? I have the Honey Badger setup, and for 223 it works great. But have issues doing 300 blk. My 3/8 endmill is a touch too small, and even with a boring bar with a chip breaker insert it is hit or miss getting the speed and feed right without wrapping brass around the shaft.
@SpartanArmament4 жыл бұрын
I am using a $13.00 End Mill from eBay. Here are the specs on it below. I don’t have issues with brass at the cutter for me it is the clogging at the vacuum that is a pain point. CARBIDE END MILL ALUMINUM 3/8 DIA 1" LOC 3 FLUTE 35 DEGREE RHS RHC 2-1/2 OAL Questions for you: - What Toolhead are you using? - What Cutting Die are you using? - How much of the trim window on the cutting die is visible once the die/Toolhead is setup?
@roquri4 жыл бұрын
@@SpartanArmament I am using the 300 Black toolhead for a Dillon 650 by GSI International, along with their 2 trim die setup. My window is about 9/16 of an inch. But to hit the trim length, there is very little gap between the cutter and the "bottom" of the window. The cutter almost touches the die. Crap, just looked at my current setup, and it's set for 223! So take the window dimension with trepidation, it's probably not that big.

Hector Vasquez this whole trimmer is built around the Honey Badger Trimmer Kit from Fast and Friendly Brass which mates with a Bosch 1617EVS Router which can be found on Amazon. I bought it all separate although you could get package as Andy mentioned from vendors.
