A couple of tips regarding the Special craft items. Obsidian Pick. This item will smelt ore as you mine it, up to Aluminum. Miasmic Axe will give Infected Bark when chopping trees. When cleaned in the Tier 4 cleaner, 2 trees will give you a full iron cabinet of Epoxy. Miasmic Pick. The single best pick in the game. When you mine with this pick it gives you Noxious Crust and when cleaned, gives you a 5-1 ratio for each noxious crust. So if you mine 100 titanium ore and get 60 noxious crust, those noxious crust become 300 Titanium ore. You get the same results for every ore, including exotics.

Titanium Deep ore is by the lake closest to the lava biome before the swamplands. I just found it a few days ago and built my base around the swamplands entry.

I always asssumed the atmosphere just didn't have enough oxygen. So it's less a filter and more providing you with extra oxygen. Thus why you can still get cave lung and eat/drink through it is because i'ts not a air tight and just adds enough oxygen for breathable levels for you and creates an air flow to push out the CO2 you breath out.

The problem is that your suit supplies enough oxygen to stay underwater.

The Larkwell Haulier suit is great. It took me like 10 minutes to get used to the missing water slot also some of the the red modules you can carry are great. On the miasmic pick, indeed very good but be careful, carrying lots of noxious stuff will slowly kill you over time. Carry a regular pickaxe for low value stuff and a miasmic one for high value ores, the higher the quantity of noxious the higher the DOT.

I still vote for your permanent base being a tower spanning the gap between the two cliff faces across the river. Since you can anchor each level to the cliff-sides, you shouldn’t have structural integrity issues.

Take your station beacon with you on missions. That way you can call for a drop pod and send your exotics up instead of hauling them around with you.

Another great stream, i look forward to my fridays here in the UK when the stream is released, Splitsie not sure wether you know or not there is a buff food that you feed your animals its called "Seed Animal Feed" its crafted on yourself and it takes a seed and Wheat to create, gives you mounts a Stam buff, and you may wanna have a looksie around I3 and I4 maybe some goodies there for you :)

I really enjoy watching you play Icarus, but I am always confused by theses crafting timers. So yeah for things that take really long or a bunch of stuff it makes sence, but if you only need like one wall, it takes 10 seconds and you just have to wait. It is basicly dead gaming time. It is not enough to do anything else, but just standing there and waiting is also not really a fun gaming experience. Just something I was thinking about.

I agree, timers in crafting always feel like an inferior gameplay mechanic to the way we build in Space Engineers - which to be fair has timers, but you can more easily pre-plan components to nullify that if you're organised/prepared
