Hi Kristina I love you, Well I started eating raw vegan diet 5 years ago. Since I was 19 I ate vegetarian but plenty of eggs and dairy. Since being raw, I juiced spinach, kale, broccoli and a few other greens. I ate tonight , Juiced apples, turmeric, ginger and then, mango and orange. So good. I been watching John Rose. I got a new Green Star and I started eating a solid food diet. Been doing 5 days but my mom didn’t want me do it. My parents eat MEAT same with my brothers and their wife’s and nieces. So sad.

I don't always agree 100% with EVERYTHING she says about diet and health HOWEVER, I do agree not only with this video but I am always happy to see her promoting eating more and more fruits and vegetables and providing people with free information on them as well as free recipes on how to incorporate them into our everyday diets. This information is so important and I feel like no one promotes it enough, not even in school are there classes about this sort of thing and it's just as vital to us humans as BREATHING. Thank you Kristina for staying strong with this lifestyle and not letting people bring you down, the world can always use more people like you

If you’re peeing clear every hour on the hour, you’re actually taxing your kidneys and bladder and not holding on to the water you’re intaking which can actually dehydrate you further. You also need healthy fats & oils as well to “hydrate” your body’s skin and and lube the knees & joints, etc.
@Starlite123

Actually drinking and peeing is a normal thing. The more the better. Drink gallons of water at a time. All clear piss that means your clean. Eat some kale. Don't drink dirty water then youll pee stones!

@missgibbonsx2376 6 жыл бұрын
prodezignz you have no clue about this topic, "drink gallons of water" your pee must be clear yellow, not transparent. If you drink too much at a time you might end up peeing too much and you can even die of water poisoning/unbalanced electrolytes, don't talk about something you have no idea about.

I love these tips Kristina! Thank you 🙏🏼 I am all about living a hydrated life!! Water is life after all 😊 It was so enjoyable to watch content that’s all about hydration. I would love to share with you an entire category that I think of regularly when considering hydration. There’s hydrating from the INSIDE out as well as hydrating from the OUTSIDE in. I loved that you spoke of breath and meditation. Our skin can breath and soak up water thru our pours. • Steam Rooms / Humid Climates • Hot Springs / Baths / Rivers / Fresh Water • Lotion / Oils / Skin Care of course with some of these ideas there is heat which leads to perspiration.. so there’s that to consider but over all when I’m in or surrounded by water I feel more alive and hydrated.

Most times when we feel that we need to eat solid food is actually when our bodies really need to rehydrate, sad thing is that most people will then get a solid snack or meal, BUT if you get yourself at least one half of a medium sized watermelon 🍉 or any other 🍈 IT WILL COMPLETELY get rid of the hungry feeling for you, PLUS you will feel replenished and FRESH and more awake. Try it and you will see what I mean, you will like the feeling so much that you will actually better understand what your body was longing for all along. It really is all about as much juice as you can get from your juicy fruit 🍇 🍉 🍎 🍏 🥝🍍🍈 🥒 🍅 🤤

What if I'm constantly thirsty? I drink around 100oz of water (and I weigh about 100lbs) a day, constantly sipping on water, I get stressed out if I go anywhere without bringing water! When I go to bed I get a 24 oz bottle, go pee, then go bed, and by the time I fall asleep I've drank half the bottle, because I can't fall asleep if I'm thirsty. I then wake up in the middle of the night to pee and am absolutely parched so I finish the other half of the bottle before I can fall asleep again. Then when I wake up I'm dieing of thirst again. I've been eating a whole foods vegan diet for about 2 years, lots of fruits and veggies, I've tried no salt, low salt, and high salt, and low salt works the best for me. I've been tested for diabetes and don't have it. It's really frustrating being this thirsty all of the time!

It’s possible your body wants minerals. Have you ever tried trace mineral drops? Do you use a filter? Filters also remove essential minerals which can be easily added back. You could also be low in magnesium, or just have dry mouth.

Emy Anderson I do use a filter, so I'll look into that! I supplement magnesium so I don't think that's an issue. Are trace mineral drops different than the minerals I get from my food? I guess I'll find out when I Google it.

Get iron supplements! I had the same thing happen (going to pee 4 times a night is awful!) had blood tests done and my doc says to try eating foods with more iron and to get iron supplements. I did that and added fish oil and B12 and I’m good now! I think you may need some vitamins. But please go to a doctor so they can check if it’s not something serious! Taking care of yourself means eating healthy AND going to go see professionals. Good luck!

No no no. I’m an EMT student (so I have credibly). Just because you don’t urinate every hour does NOT mean you’re most likely dehydrated. Your urine doesn’t need to be clear. Also please don’t drink from rivers or springs. I feel like that is just common sense if you’ve ever taken a science class. Just drink water regularly. A few cups a day and a few after you work out and you’ll be golden.

Yes it is, because I know the rest is nonsense. There is enough science behind the destruction of enzymes, proteins, carbohydrates and minerals due to cooking. There is also enough science showing a plant based diet in general is healthier and more sustainable. Since you are an EMT student, I believe you have te capability to do research, so do it and you will find the evidence.

It's always best to drink the most water during the very beginning of the day, it is always good to start with a large amount of water to start your day and keep drinking until 4 hours before your bedtime or earlier unless you really have to, you shouldn't pee as much at night :) starting off with most water in the morning can also boost and kickstart your metabolism, and energize you for the day :)

Josephine Egstrup try substituting more fruit as a hydration source. Perhaps later in the afternoon and slowing down on the water. This will kick start your lymphatic system and help your kidneys to eliminate lymphatic waste from your body and not just running water through your system. How long have you been drinking lots of water? Sometimes it takes awhile to get used to it and it will eventually not run right through you.

God had you to do this video for me, because I've been dehydrated this entire month. I love Harmless Harvest Coconut Water for now, since I can't get to the farmer's market for a real coconut lately. I need to drink more lemon water to help myself every day for now. I've heard of Evamor Water. but have never tried it. I need to get back to putting fruit in my water which I haven't done since 2016. I cam't afford a juicer right now, but will get one eventually. I need to eat more water rich foods than I do, and I currently do that every week, but need to eat more every day. Also another good thing people can do is buy a good filter like a Berkey Filter. They are a little pricey but last FOREVER and have great warranties. Put your tap water through them and enjoy. You can even buy condensed mineral drops from a trusted company and add them to your water, for taste but also the minerals help your body retain the water and stay properly hydrated.

Hey Kristina! I have been following you for years now. Just like to say something here. Love how you make such educational videos but it will go in your favour if you do some medical research on your topics too. Like when you talked about drinking extra fluids. Know that we lose 500ml to 1000ml water during respiration/bodily secretions/skin. It’s called insensible losses. We loss water in feces around 100-200ml, roughly the same amount via sweating and the obvious cause, urination which mounts anywhere between 1-2litres. Your body must maintain a positive balance to prevent dehydration! The more medical facts you’ll share, the more weighted your argument will be 🙌🏻 just a tip, if you don’t mind 🌸 Also being a doctor I just wana say, peeing every hour is not normal. Maybe you misspoke there 🙈

Love the vide ...I’m thinking about it seriously drinking coconut water daily ...however I don’t like the taste ..but I used to HATE broccoli..but it has become one of my favorite foods ...yummm ..I really believe to be healthy our body is an investment ...I’m willing to pay it now because I don’t want to pay it in Medical bills when I get older ...please keep inspiring the world the way you have inspired me.👋🏿

Definitely should be! Theres a lot more signs of dehydration than the ones she spoke about, I guess those are just the main/most common ones maybe? Things like dry skin, acne, hair loss, etc are also signs of dehydration.

Hm. Lemon has a pH of 4. Alkaline water has a pH of 8, maybe 9. What's the point, if you are adding acidity to the water?

Hey Kristina. I use to do fully raw a couple years back then fell back on to a meat diet. But I've finally jumped back onto the raw vegan diet again! And it's honestly so much better than having a meat diet. My asthma has improved with hiit training and I feel so Good! Thank you for uploading your videos, they're so educating and helpful.

Oh, you've been in Taiwan! What a coincidence, I live there. But compared to people here I'm an alien with my high standards I have to admit.Thanks for your videos and be well!
