This video has just made me really want a watermelon. These videos have inspired me. I'm not fully raw yet (I'm a british student so a lot of this stuff isn't affordable for me) but in a fortnight I've gone from junk food loving carnivore to mostly vegan. I do treat myself to some thin crust, vegetarian pizza or something on the weekend, but I'm still feeling a huge difference! I've also learn to cook and prepare fresh meals too.

Kristina, this video was very inspirational and I love what you said, "Love foods that love you back"! I'm really, really drawn to this lifestyle and I think I want to make the commitment to eat more raw foods. I have one very important question though, can this lifestyle and change in nutrition sustain a person who runs regularly? My concern is if I will have the energy to run daily without feeling depleted? Thank you so much for your insight, it's appreciated ;)

Hi Genevieve, I eat all these foods and live this lifestyle. I also run 5 and 10 k's regularly and ran my first half marathon on the Gold Coast Australia last year. I actually feel stronger and run further on this lifestyle...I definitely recommend it for runners :)

These are my top ten, too! Lately, I've been enjoying a winter fruit salad of pineapple, grapefruit, mandarin orange, and sometimes either berries or pomegranate seeds on top. I pour all the juice that comes out from cutting the pineapple into the bowl and it's like a fruit soup. Yummy.

Kristina, have you ever thought that maybe your flat tummy is not due to the fruits you eat, but the amount of exercise you do? I really don't think ten bananas every day is going to help people lose weight if they don't exercise as much as you do.

Weight loss has more to do with the foods you eat rather than exercise. You cannot expect to eat mcdonalds everyday , workout everyday & lose weight. NOT gonna happen. You don't have to go fully raw to lose weight but eating raw foods will make you lose weight. You can consume as much as you want & it will not make you gain weight as say macaroni or a burger does.

I agree with both of you because it isn't JUST the foods you eat and it isn't JUST the amount of exercise you do. It is both, they work together and are equally needed to lose weight.

I studied nutrition in college, and I agree that diet is VERY important in weight loss. However, Kristina has mentioned that she runs 6-8 miles every day. With that amount of exercise, she could easily eat more than the average person and still not gain weight. My POINT is that a normal person without that much exercise will not lose weight on a diet that calls for ten bananas in one sitting.

One of the things I love the most about eating fully raw is that you don't need to restrict yourself. I actually find myself having to add a little more to my bowls and plates because when I think I have a lot I find out that it is not enough for a full meal. I love that I can eat as much as I want of my favorite fruits because most of them are high in water content and are so fresh and delicious!!! Love abundantly!!!

Glad to see mangos made the list -- been my favorite fruit/food since I can remember! Growing up I would ask my mom to "leave the pit for me." I would stand on a stool over the sink and suck/bite/slurp every last piece of mango off of that pit! My mom would always leave extra around the pit instead of cutting as close as she could to it. How sweet!

my staples are 1) banana and vanilla smoothies, 2) a rainbow salad consisting of spring mix and baby spinach, cucumber, cilantro, green onion, red onion, tomatoes, red yellow and green bell peppers, avocado, and a homemade balsamic vinegar dressing, 3) zucchini spiralized noodles with a chunky tomato, garlic, and fresh basil sauce, and 4) a sweet blended marinara sauce I make with fresh tomatoes, soaked homemade sundried (dehydrated) tomatoes, bell peppers, sweet onion, garlic, dates, crushed red pepper, and italian seasonings and I use zucchini chips to dip into. I freeze pineapple and then blend frozen pineapple with a frozen banana for ice cream. My favorite is frozen pineapple blended with almond milk with a touch of vanilla bean.

I LOVE watermelon!!! So good. I can only eat 3 bananas at a time and that makes me feel super full for a while. I make sure I get greens and cucumber in daily too.

I ate a lot of grapefruit last week and had some problems with bleeding. I juiced grapefruit one day in a blend, and had some bleeding...I just tried them recently and fell in love but I guess I can't have too many in a day.

Mine was (summer time) watermelons. I would eat half in the morning and occasionally one half at night. Then it was figs and dates to help with the sweet cravings.

My favorite fully raw fruits are watermelon, papaya, and mango. But I am also a huge fan of avocados. Everyday I am having one full avocado and a sliced banana mixed together. It is so yummy and keeps me full till lunch. You should give it a try!! :-)
