I don't think most folk understand or could even comprehend the logistics behind these types of endeavors. Even simple wire cables are connectors, pins, wire, and assembly. Even fixtures for the assembly have to be designed, built and tested. Just taking the packing off the printer as I readied to move it into the house, I marveled at the design.

each station is a delicate assembly - every screw is accounted for. I agree, this is an amazing process - and then we have to send it to your house! From this factory in China on a truck and a ship and another truck to you,. Pretty amazing!

Wow! it's so fascinating to watch how the factory makes each assembly of the printer and in a production line, produce such a complex machine. The features that each station has to reduce difficulty of each process is great to see as well. The factory should have oxygenating plants and natural daylight for the well being of the staff @Creality Great video, thanks for showing us around, more please :D

My two K2 Plus printers showed up relatively unscathed. New parts were sent VERY VERY fast! Creality should be proud of this amazing printer!!!

Do you know what paint they use on the outside of the printer? The packing tape was so strong that it took a lot of the paint off, and I've seen other people saying it happened to them too... So I was wondering if I could get some grey paint that perfectly colour matches to try and fix it...

I'm curious what the work conditions and pay like for an basic assembly associate are.

I didn't ask of course. Conditions seem nice enough, the room is comfortable and they have chairs to sit in. Wearing normal clothing and the room is clean, no smoking, no food. These are all things I was thinking about afterwards also. The cost to live in this city is quite low but as for wages I really have no clue what they are.

No No No, actually it is the total opposite, there's no such thing in China. Please stop listening to western medias. But of course their salaries are in proportion of the living cost which is around 5 times less than North America.

If only there was something inspiring about this video. However for me being in the Canadian 40% group and getting nothing but constant delay after delay after delay I find very little here encouraging. As of the beginning of this week the last email I received in regards to my order is that it will not be shipping out until at least the end of the year. Meanwhile there are those individuals that have ordered printers and combos during Black Friday that are receiving their printers now..

I feel your pain, I’m in the 20% group - Perth 🇦🇺. Three delays so far with no idea when it’s going to be delivered. The spare build plate was delivered yesterday, (14/12/2024). Sadly there’s only one port in Australia that Creality ships to, Sydney. Would be nice if Creality had an office on the west coast of Australia. @kevin.3D can you pass that onto the head office?

What surprises me is there are no robots being used. I imagine the labor costs are cheap enough to just staff people, and I'm not suggesting that the people be replaced, but for critical and tight tolerance things I wonder if robotics would make sense? When I received a Ender 3 Max several years ago it didn't work properly. I eventually found it was far out of alignment/spec, and once I reworked it it's working well. FYI: Learned about how to set up and configure a printer from my Ender 3 Pro that needed assembly :)

Love the tour cool video.. but ( and I say this with all due respect ) where the heck is MY K2 Plus.. I ordered it on June 14th.. being aware it wasn't due to be delivered until the end of October due to it being a presale. Then I got an email in September saying it was pushed back another month to the end of November and Creality tried to make amends by offering everyone a small discount to buy even more stuff from them when the first thing hadn't even arrived and frankly most things like filament are crazy over priced ( 22 for 1 KG of elegoo vs 36 for a roll of creality hyper pla.. really? ) And now here we are just short of two weeks into December which would mark 6 months since my original purchase and so far I haven't gotten any notices of further delay's.. the website just says 'awaiting shipment' and while I am genuinely excited to get this printer this whole experience is getting really quite frustrating.

I have Creality Ender 3V3KE - very bad quality. Hotend fan was replaced by new just after one month of use. Mainboard and PSU fans are next for replacement.

Oh wow, I have the SE and have had no problems with it at all - i really like that printer. I wish I got the KE for the wifi printing. Hopefully those things were covered under warranty though right? Still, waiting for parts sucks! I hear ya!

Beware of the lower door hinge! Mine along with many others was not attached to the glass when unpackaged. You can see where the adhesive hasn’t made contact with the hinge. Poor design. Creality has failed to respond to me so far and others have commented that they are telling their customers to glue it themselves.
