Well that looked a lot of fun. I greatly approve of your entertaining ethic! Please can you suggest when to order in flowers (for table decorations) for an event? I'm a fairly novice flower arranger and usually use what I can cut from the garden or buy from the side of the road but need more than I can source in this haphazard fashion! Is collecting the flowers from a supplier on a Tuesday about right for a 'do' on a Thursday? They are needed for end of May so at the rate we are going with the weather - it won't be roasting hot then... Thank you, Caroline

honesty lasts longer the riper the flower heads - if there are the beginning of seed heads then they'll last and the seedheads develop x
