Just bought my first fine car at age 68.... love it. I bought it from a dealership and got it home and the next day my friend said those tires are not right. I went to two different tire dealers both telling me I had dry rot. Went back to the dealership and said of course they will tell me that as they want to sell me tires. Well with the covid I didn’t get to have the car seen till dark and I took it back before 3 days and was told my car passed all inspections. So I could not get any where. Then I found out the price of tires oh my ! I hope my 12 hour trip will be safe. Also my sheet they put in my glove box was to be everything that was on my car. I did not find some of the things. I love my car but wish I could learn more about it. That’s why I’m on line to try to figure things out. Seems the dealership does not have time for me now that they have my money. I needed help with questions with the computer system I was told to come to the service center when I came I was told to go to the person that sold it to me and they was not working that day and drove 45 minutes to get there. Why is it when women shop alone we get ripped off.

AWD ones are heavier, and not as quick, as a V6 rear wheel drive. Also there are two 3.6L V6's ... One is fractionally more powerful, and I don't know which model you had.

@@analystzorncasteel3047 I had the regular 293hp rwd V6. Nice ride! I also own a 2013 avenger fwd 3.6 now and that's a lot faster than the Chrysler 300. Like it gets to 60 in ONE gear when I have traction. I took it to meinekes to have the crank position sensor replaced and I heard the mechanic saying it was modified. Its exhaust sure is loud 😆 probably exhaust leak but who knows

@@analystzorncasteel3047 yeah I owned a charger rt. 2013. Actually it was a pursuit model but all the stuff was taken out so basically just an rt. And while it had great torque, I honestly think my 2013 avenger with the pentastar would have smoked it in a race 😂 the Chrysler 300 would be amazing in the srt trim with the 392. That's what I would want.

It's a shame America won't sell the SRT 300 on their own country. We still have them in Australia, I own the Core model, these cars really are the gentleman's express, love it.

I can understand. However, I am glad we still get the ability to choose a V8. There are hardly any sedans left on the market, especially with a naturally aspirated V8. The fact that the 300 is a powerful luxury sedan for less $50k USD is another bonus. Besides this Chrysler 300 and the Dodge Charger, all that is left on the market are $100k luxo barges.

I own the 2016 300S Alloy Edition, with the 5.7L, of course. Had a 2012 with the 3.6L, prefer the power of the V-8, the bigger the better. Had a 2013 300C, 5.7L it was nice, it would keep my "roadie" cold and my coffee hot. In my 2016 I (computer) recorded almost 31 MPG over a 3800 mile road trip, cylinder deactivation. Live in Arizona, and believe me the freeways through Utah, hiway 15 running north are concrete surfaces and as smooth as glass, If I slowed down below 85 MPH it was because I was in town or getting off the freeway. I would prefer the 6.4L motor in an SRT8, I hear that they are available in Canada but not in the US any more. Why? I know the Charger is available, don't like the cove on the doors. I have always been satisfied with the styling and performance of the 300. Price way below any foreign manufacture for a car that is comparable in features, and performance...

With the sport suspension, I wish they would have included a limited slip diff. I just realized I didn't get the heated and cooled cup holder, dang it. So the 2nd week of owning my 300s, a rock hit my window and cracked it half way across the window. The 3rd week of ownership, a mouse chewed up the wiring harness to 3 of the coils. Come to find out, the covering on the wiring harness is made of soy to make it more eco friendly but the mice love the taste. Thanks for the video.

Hey guys. I owned a 96 Imapala SS and now currently own a 04 Mercury Marauder and looking to upgrade to a newer model car. It seem tht these Chrysler 300 are the only powere sedans out there and Im leaning toward one. Is the S series the sports version of the Chrysler 300's??? Do they have a SRT or Hellcat series of these by any chance????

Good news and bad new, yes there is an SRT 300 but they don't sell them in America. You can find older 300 models with SRT, just don't remember what year they stopped. The S series is the sport model and to me its the best looking. The top end models just have to much chrome. Trust me the 5.7 has plenty of power and is really fun in sport mode but also the ride is amazing. You would be really happy to purchase one.
