Fun fact.. This guy is the reason why my son is called Huey :) I've been a fan since 1998.

Saw them on the Huntenpop festival in 2008 and it's still one of the best shows i've ever seen. What a party, and Come Find Yourself is still the ultimate summer album. Also good the rest of the year, but there's something about sitting in the sun, cracking open an ice cold beer and blasting The Fun Lovin' Criminal through your speakers... Hope to see them live once again, haven't seen them without Huey yet.

I saw them play at Sasava Fest in deepest Bohemia here in Czech Republic in August 2012. The crowd *LOVED* Huey and the band ! Everyone singing along. A band with great style, great music, positive attitude. And Huey bedded Ireland's finest Corr. Well done Huey ! I hope he brings this solo show around mainland Europe !

The days before cell phones that's how friendships formed. In dog parks, people used to jog together and form bands, their kids played together and someone needed a drummer, stuff like that. And music was everything, it meant more than you guys today will ever know.

How has the top2000 agogo team never had a conversation with Brian May or something? He seems pretty open to the public, is it really that hard to secure a meeting or is there just nothing interesting to be told because their song are already endlessly covered by other channels?

Zero mention of the sample that defines the whole song from Tones on Tail

Yep. I was expecting the sample mention.

It's not a sample, it's an interpolation (playing the same chords in the same style but not a direct sample from the record.)

He seems very engaged and has a nice energy, i am surprised. Ive seen them late nineties/early 00 in Amsterdam (gashouder) and it’s the worst concert I’ve been to to this day. Maybe they did too many scooby snacks that day or something, but they really didn’t want to be there and had 0 connection to the crowd. It was just awful.

Don't visit the roman bath in Bath! Overpriced and underwhelming. The city itself is beautiful.
@baskruitnl17 күн бұрын
I did visit it last summer. It was ok but pricey indeed. Nice surprise to see Huey settled over there. He looks happy. I saw the FLC in 2001 at a major festival here in The Netherlands. Not totally my music but I have a soft spot for them.

Go search them do this song live for the first time in the UK. They didn’t know they were this famous in the UK. Their reaction is golden.

@@the_zenclimber I've looked and I'm not sure what this person is talking about. The first time they performed this song in the UK was at the Pheonix Festival in 1996, but the song hadn't actually been officially released at that point. In fact, in the UK the song didn't become a hit until it was re-released in June 1997. They did play Top of the Pops (at the time the biggest music show on TV in the UK) in July 1997 and they're enjoying themselves but I wouldn't describe their reaction as "golden". So, no idea.
