Fun Low Tide with good wind

Man I needa surf Muriwai , im from Wellington so I surf Lyall bay but the surf up there looks rteal good alot of time, also muriwai seems to get alot of On shore tho.

it must be cold down there in wellington, Are the waves very good down there Yea Muriwai does get alot of onshore and waves that are too big, but on a normal day with decent waves i found that the power in the waves is crazy compared to the east coast up here. It is very consistant tho, there is always waves its just sometimes they are messy

@@peter-nt4wt oh ye she's chilly down here, water temp is around 14C but has a feels like temp of 8, although waves have been real good, the waves down here in welly are super powerful so much force comes with them, its actually slightly scary seeing only a wave around 2Metres but has so much force cuz even a wave around that size feels like getting hit by a bus so much power comes with so it would be nice to come up the coast at some point and surf some of the waves up there where it doesn't get as strong and powerful.

@@skux9508 Oh wow thats cold, That water temp mixed with some wind would make for some chilly surf's Dam yea if the waves down there are more powerful than muriwai then that would be scary as if you want some low power waves with good form, waves the east coast up here is unreal like i have had waves land on my back on a decent east day and barely got effected. If that happend on the west coast then i would have lost hold of my board and sent through a washing cycle

@@peter-nt4wt ye that sounds way more chill,any boards become a two piece some days when it’s really big and some dare to surf.🏄‍♂️
