Here are some fun things to do while sober at home, at night or on the weekend. If you're newly sober, maybe you're doing dry January, and now you don't know what to do with yourself, here are some ways to occupy your time when you quit drinking. Fun things to do to keep your mind off of drinking.

I got sober in January of 2019 after trying to get sober for years. One of the things that stopped me was thinking that life was going to be boring if I wasn't drinking. Boy, was I wrong.

I am jogging with my adult daughter and plunging into icy rivers each Saturday morning. I also bought a drum set and found lessons... I also take Spanish lessons for free on Duo Lingo APP. I ALSO GO TO THE GYM 3-6 TIMES A WEEK.

So helpful! Just passed 300 days sober and I definitely feel bored a lot of the time! I’m going to paint and make jewelry… love the idea of a pole class!

I have two beautiful daughters 11and 6. I have tonnes of opportunities to have fun being sober. I wasn't a bad father before, but I always had a cloud over my mind. 4 days sober, and I m using Naltrexone to blunt the pleasure of drinking. Having more and more alcohol free days. I will give it up eventually

So I realize I'm like 7 months behind on this but I love the suggestions! My son is 11 and he loves chess so I've been trying to learn..also fun sober activities..thrift store shopping..flea markets etc. Super fun and interesting way to spend sober time with friends or even by your lonesome!
