I have done them before. My hair is about the same length as yours but not as thick. They do look like dreads in the budding stage when they are puffy and not fully locked. Check out westafricanbaby she also has a video on loose twists. Your twists are beautiful.

NaturallyHigh does loose 2 strand twists and has extremely thick and kinky hair. Also NaturallyInspired11 and WestAfricanBaby and CravingYellow and EfficientlyNatural and WhatLiesBeneathTheWigs and NappyHeadedJojoba and JustLostJC and Igbocurls, SwahilNaptural... Anyway, I can go on, but yes those ladies have saved my life. They all have extremely kinky hair like mine and do loose twists

how long did u keep them in? Did you wash/condition them? I have very kinky coily hair but my haor is very fine and low density at the front. Any advise on how to make the front look fuller? tia

christine1962ful I did not wash them because you could cause tangles that way. They are not like tight compact twist, but I did spritz them with water and brush leav in cond on them for only 2 weeks. I can't go longer than that w/o washing. I would suggest pinning your hair up in the front somehow to hide the thinness. I have a video coming up this week to show you how I styled them. To keep the body, do you just sleep in a big bonnet?

I sleep in a big bonnet but I find that allowing your hair to dry before laying down keeps the body. If you sleep while it’s wet it’ll dry flat. Hope this helps

How long does this last? Also how many times can you moisturize in this style before you have to redo them? I'm sorry if you mentioned it in the video and I missed it!

Bri no problem. They can last a couple of weeks to a month. Then you simply moisturize according to need. Your hair will tell you. Personally a month will be pushing it for the next time to wash and redo. Thanks for watching!
