@Dahstin5311 Жыл бұрын
Not sure if they have a problem with eachother or not. Do they? If you say that based on Bob Saget dropping the N bomb then it's kinda funny. Patrice has always been 100% behind saying anything you can think of. Another thing to add would be Patrice being surrounded by comedians that dropped the N bomb also, like Rosanne lol

I disagree completely. Patrice is just not funny at all; his humor is very bass, and seems completely dependent on denigrating white people, for no particular reason or pertinance. Never understood why anyone ever thought he was funny. Just a very base insult comic.

The most amazing thing about Green Room to me is that they get the most contrasting comedians, all representative of a different brand of comedy, and every single one of them has their moment. There’s no script to speak of, but even the comics I barely knew or didn’t like all say something unbelievably clever at some point.

Good comedians are notoriously sensitive. It’s where they get their intelligence and wit from. They are not emotionless drones incapable of feeling empathy. Comedy comes from tragedy.
@CStrik3r6 жыл бұрын
Mr. Plinkett not really. She's dead serious. Joe Rogan talked about her on his podcast, how there was this comedian who was so funny but didn't have the courage to get on stage. One day he mustered up his courage and went on stage and I don't remember what "Politically Incorrect" thing he was in the middle of saying and she got on stage and shut him down because she didn't agree with him. You know how you've been trying to do a backflip but never dared to, and all you need is *one* smooth one to get the other ones coming but you end up face-planting on the ground and that's it you forget about daring to do that shit ever again cause your confidence got raped right in the fart box? Well apparently she caused this already awkward guy to not dare step on stage again, because of some PC stance she has. I never understood how you can be a comedian and at the same time be a weak-kneed, limp-wristed, lily-livered bitchass SJW...

Ah 2010-11. Rogan had hair. Izzard knew he was a dude. Burr & Quinn predicted selective outrage. And we could still laugh at one another without becoming enraged over select words.

Rogan has always been a better BS-er than a stand-up. I mean that was a complement. He's so good at pulling funny into his circle, and milking conversations for the comedy inherent to the human experience.
