For those who say Elvis slept all day and stayed up all night...they make it sound like he had a weird problem...The truth is, he's an entertainer in Vegas where the public were in the casinos during the day and at night they watched the entertainers! So yes he did things in reverse...as did all the entertainers!
@user-ki5df8dk2v9 күн бұрын
His life was no different than a theatre tech. My daughter was a sound and lighting tech who worked all night and slept all day. Her friends would say to us oh your daughter doesn't come out with us at night anymore. I said that's because you work all day and she is sleeping and when you go out it is at night and she is working.

She didn’t know any better. I’ll never forget the feeling of it hitting me& flopping on the floor on a blanket with all my muscles loose. The pill called Carbitrol and it was popular sleeping pill with people in the 60s-70s. It was later recalled and I’ve always search for that feeling again. I’m 62. been on Quaaludes and Ambien… Don’t ever take Ambien, it is hell on earth… So now all I take is Xanax, generic, by😮 prescription once a month. I still go through it before I’m done. I have to wait to get it refilled it so that addiction is still there. I never told mom that I think that’s what happened because it was out of the goodness of her heart and she didn’t know but you do always chase that first high and never find it. I think for most of his hardcore Fans this is very hard to accept that he became over Years a serious Drugaddict just like many of the great Rock/Popstars in those Days. Elvis had started feeding his addictive personality while in the army. That is very hard to fight, guess it was lucky he never drank alcohol or smoked! His momma never taught him to sleep by himself from a little boy hence he always needed someone for 'company'. We know a lot of his companions were not about sex. The pills were prescribed so okay to him. Overeating wouldn't kill anybody right? Unfortunately no one knew his family history including Elvis! In some ways he was still like a teenager! Do what feels good NOW! In his Jungle Room CD he talks with that little stutter thing, makes him sound so young! It's a shame he had to take over the role of 'provider ', he really wasn't ready for that especially at the hands of Parker! He took so much money from Elvis, sad very sad. Love you E ❤❤❤

In the 70's there was detail pharmacuticalpersins leaving samples like it was candy. I know cuz I used to take the dexadrines and black beauties to lose weight. Being a Priscilla fan I remind everyone who viewed this vlog that Priscilla was a thankless long time girlfriend who had no friends outside Elvis' family. No choices of her own made her a prisoner to her life with Elvis. Like her, I love him and the changes he gave his generation and the generations to come. But, as we all know he was one ramped up, wild rock n roller. She sought the openly romantic life in a man that everyone knew would be her perfect shelter. Plus, how much could any woman stand knowing how many side romances Elvis had.

And like everyone else, she's also responsible for her choice to stay. Nobody held her hostage except possibly her opportunistic parents and siblings, who benefited handsomely for years from her connection to Elvis. Having read many dozens of memoirs, I know the following for certain: every single one is written from one perspective only, an accounting of something simply being printed on paper does not guarantee it to be the indisputable truth, and it's impossible to verify the accuracy of conversations or events between two people, with no witnesses to provide corroboration, and especially when one is now dead. At least half of Elvis and Me I just don't believe. Priscilla is a master manipulator who's worded her accounts to make her a victim of Elvis' control, yet her post Elvis choices of men have shown she's gullible to the manipulations of a series of men only interested in her for her money, now former good looks, but mostly her celebrity. We all get back what we give out and sometimes a lot more...just to get a karmic point across loud and clear.

Considering everything, I think Elvis was quite mild, most people, myself included, would've been way more wild and probably dead much sooner😊

It was his responsebillity to not marry Priscilla in the first place. If he had not done that he could have married his later true Soulmate and Love which every Elvisfan knows was Ann-Margret.

Never make a man a God. First off you can Never attain that title. Theres Only one true God and he made you and me. I met with Elvis in late Nov 69. Im a huge fan but he was not perfect..and Priscilla was not bad as people now want to destroyher. If Elvis was a Christian his life would have produced better fruits. I hope though he is in heaven😢
@naturestone31482 ай бұрын
You met Elvis in Person and you don`t know that he was a true CHRISTIAN until the End? His personal Library was filled with religious books and his personal Bible was full with hundreds of handwritten references and questions that he had about his role in this Life. Elvis was a spiritual Searcher his whole Life through. In his Concerts he always had a set of Spirituals and as an Actor ocassionally he preached the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST to his Co-Actors while waiting for the Scene... You think because he couldn`t manage his Prescribtion-Drugaddiction he can not be a faithfull Christian like he was? You better think about that...

@@naturestone3148 you don't search other religious beliefs if you have truly accepted Jesus as the only begotten Son of God..and are still inbondage and sleeping with a woman who.you are Not married to on the.last day of your.life.😪

@@CherieAllen-g2y You have strange thoughts that i don`t agree with because it sounds very judging like you know exactly under what circumstances somebody is a true Christian. Ofcourse he accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour and because of this it is very likely that your wish is true: He is probably saved.

They paint a picture that they make look way worse. Guys he supported and trusted back stabbed him. There are shows and times when he sounded fine. They did this for the money. No one pays you to tell a story that isn’t fillld with controversy. The family cut all these guys off snd they were correct too. F them all. His drug problem was a thing but half of what they make it look like. You can’t tour 2/3 times a year with how they make it sound

One very accurate example of how Elvis was slipping was letting the likes of a Ginger Alden into his life, wow what a piece of work she was and still is to this very day!!!! That thing has to be the worst kind of female for any man to cross paths with and it goes to show you how badly things were going in Elvis' life at that time that someone like HER was allowed to slip through the cracks and get next to Elvis, she's definitely another aspect of how bad things were at the end😢
