Thanks for making the video. what are your thoughts now after having it for a while? im trying to decide between this and the Numeric shifter for my 987.1

I absolutely love it. The numeric was a bit pricey for me at the time but after experiencing how much better this is than stock, I can appreciate how some would opt for the numeric which is probably a little better than this depending on your taste. But for me for now, I'm totally satisfied. It is a little shorter because I went with 997 shifter when I installed the Function-First, but once you get use to the feel of the shorter 997, it's all gravy :)

@@Engineerboy100 thanks for the advice. The only thing that worries me about the Numeric is how notchy it looks. I think it would be great on the track but for street driving I think it could get annoying. Function first looks to be a good compromise between the two

I'm considering this brand and would appreciate your thoughts after having it for a few years. Has the not-chi-ness started to wear on you? Do you still recommend this brand? No. The shift knob is by UUC. It is a BMW part.
