We actually like normal boring stuff inside the home when the harvest and preserving are over. Watching just a short video of Meg cooking from the harvest is such a joy. You don't need content. We love the whole family and enjoy just simplicity. It's great to take a break because you all deserve it. But, you are never boring and just a short video of what's for dinner or whatever is very pleasing. Most people who watch your content just enjoy the simple things. Either way, merry Christmas and happy new year!

For me- the magic of your channel is not projects or gardening. It’s regular family life. It’s what you would call boring mundane life. Do not stress yourselves. Do not worry over content or frequency of videos. Do what your family needs. If you want to post a video once a week- great!!! Many channels do that. We love your family. Whatever you need we support! Merry Christmas! God bless!

If I had a you tube channel, I’d be off in the winter too to be honest. Unless y’all wanna see me get my husky out to run 😄. Winter is mostly time with her ♥️ She’s really good about being tied on when I cut the grass or am in my gardens and she has to stay inside when the hens get out to scratch … just glad hens don’t have a sense of time 😄😄 it’s usually like 11-1… I do have a small hen catch and run that I move around and Sorcha’s really good about not scaring the feathers off them but she will go lay there and watch them. Anyway- enjoy your time off, I’m sure we’ll all miss you but you all are very worth the wait. ♥️🙏 Be well.

Yep. Don't burn yourself out with the youtube schedule. I did a 45 to 60 minute livestream that I pre-produced each week as a Sing along for my Gospel music and did it every Friday night for 3 and a half years. All consuming to produce a show like that with 8 songs a week plus talking parts. By my self. It finally got to where I just could not do it any longer tho It was one of the most rewarding tasks I have ever undertaken. But the schedule can get to you after a while. So don't overdo it tho I must admit I look for your vids every day and enjoy them. Still, you have to have a life outside youtube. I don't think people who don't do it can understand the expectations. So enjoy your holidays. The rest of us will and we will just be glad when you are able to put something up! We love you!! ❤❤

For anyone who grows a garden of any size, having downtime in winter is important. When I lived in SoCal, I loved being able to grow stuff year round but I didn't feel burnout after awhile. If you use the winter to do any projects, we'd all love to see what you're up to. And like many others have already said, watching Meg in the kitchen anytime is always inspiring. But as someone who likes to cook, it can be hard to do while being filmed and explaining what you're doing and why. Enjoy some family time and we'll all be waiting here when you're ready to jump back in.
