Outstanding! I understand each aspect of this awesome workout and why no need to explain anything. Each set counterbalances the next and makes perfect sense: push, pull and core; all experienced and good trainers should know that these are the perfect building blocks for exceptional circuit training. Thank you!

No he really aint. Hes a cult leader and nlocks people for disagreeing with him or simply asking questions. This is just flippy spin sh*t and throwing movements. Its not strength training, its over complicated torsoe training. This fighter hasnt won a fight since teaming up with fictional patterns btw.

I have huge respect for anyone who spends as much time and effort as you to obtain such a dream. So congratulations on the success. Everyone is entitled their opinions, taking the higher road just sometimes would do wonders bro. Don't feel the need entertain all negativity. Regardless of what anyone says keep pushing and doing what you love. P.s. this is for the group and you Thanks for reading

I'm interested in the theory behind the kettlebell swing technique and the terminator walk....Are you not concerned about the rotation in the lumbar spine? In my understanding it probably is not a concern in the context of the kettlebell technique here, but those terminators walks....locking down the hips with the split stance and adding rotation, on top of that the weight, what about the lumbar rotation? Wanting more videos. :)
@functionalpatterns
@functionalpatterns 9 жыл бұрын
The issue that people have with rotation in the lumbar spine is an issue they have not addressed on themselves. Since most experts operate from a place of complete dysfunction, it appears that rotation from the t-spine (what I condition humans to do very well) is really where rotation should come from. Be weary of people with a depressed ribcage, externally rotated hips, a lean belly that sticks out, internationally rotated shoulders, an anterior pelvic shift, because if they have these issues it's likely they do not understand what thoracic rotation feels like. I didn't fully feel it up until about 3 years ago and it changed the course of most of my mechanical deficiencies. Thank you for the great question.

true who knows how the spine will react after excessive use of this technique others have there side effects i think the rotation has to be correct and exact perfect timing or the person will fell strain hurt there muscles

I get that the stick on the back thing is to keep the spine in line/neutral. But what is making it so hard on the guy?
@functionalpatterns
@functionalpatterns 9 жыл бұрын
a lifetime of deficiency programmed by an environment that has prevented him from engaging his intrinsic core stabilization system during fatigue. In short, he's adapted to sit, not move, so his core doesn't work well.

To check he is keeping a neutral spine, using a stick helps you check for pelvic tilt or lack of thoracic extension.

I could really see how doing boxing training could be really effective for shoulder and upper body muscular endurance, for fighters and lat and grip wrk for grappling, but I'm still not 100 percent sold on all this fp training, except for that one thing. There seems to be a thin line on what is considered functional and not functional, I guess imo it's anything u never see in a gym?... I do kettle bell and medicine ball wrk, which is a lot of what there doing so yeah idk? what exactly im trying to say except maybe? fp works? but doesn't have to be this complicated? and fancy?

You talk a lot of trash sitting in front of your computer. Would you ever say these things to my face or anyone else's? No you wouldn't. If you're ever in the Pasadena area In California I'll gladly give you the chance to back up your bullshit but realistically you're a grown man with a Napoleon complex or some kind of inferiority problems. You can keep calling me names all day it means nothing because you're nothing. What's the matter Naudi, daddy didnt love you enough? Mommy a whore or drug addict?
