Funeral held for 7-year-old Breon Allen, who was killed in shooting

Nearly a week after a 7-year-old boy was shot and killed while walking down the street, his family held a funeral to celebrate his much too short life.

Horrific, so senseless. People start out so pure, so unspoiled at birth. A culture that invites gun use...is a culture of pure destruction. They say, ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG...Breon, I listened to your mother here and... I believe you will be remembered as unspoiled...GOOD...a GOOD person...among other qualities. I cannot imagine the hurt Breon's mother is experiencing. As a father of two adult sons...I cannot imagine. One thing ALL of us have in common I understand, is we all who live on this earth, will experience pain and suffering. Ive had my share...but this...I hurt for you Breon family and friends. Love yourself as best you can going forward.

There are lots of people who know who killed this child, most of all the grown cousin that was the intended target....but he's not talking. I'm no fan of corrupt lawdawgs, but we can't demand they get who did this without people telling what they know. Lord bless and comfort this mama.
