Yes. In the same Pavilions Supermarket that you 3 gentlemen went to this time, I saw a jar of spachetti sauce - ~25 oz, the size we see most often - priced at $15 & up, and that was ~10 years ago...

just to give some contrast, there are asian families in south pasadena and a good population of asian kids at south pasadena high school. but its just not entirely asian nor white.. you can say its mainly rich folks so if you have the $$$ then you can move into the neighborhood. also, as the older generation fades out there are newer buyers who are diversified in race and culture, just need to have the MBA (massive bank account)
