Jason, I understand carrying the a bag of fungicide benefit but I perfer to spray because I know for a fact the fungicide is "going to work" when I walk awy from the problem area. What if the rain event does not happen? Also the customer may not run irrigation or may not even have irragation or the patch is not close to a hose scenario. Keeping a jug of Azoxy and PPZ on the truck and mixing a small batch is as easy a spreading granular and I know the product "is on the job". If I have any mix left over ; if one yard has Large Patch you can be sure within 24 hours you'll run into more of the same on your route to use any leftover.

Preventive fungicides for 2 to 3 years should resolve issues with large patch and spring dead spot takes time but worth the money if you really care about you’re lawn

Hey I was wondering I just started my lawn care mini business. I was wondering since I just started out if these were good prices? 20 small 30 medium 40 large. Keep in mind im 16. what do you guys think?

if you're mowing, weed eating, edging and blowing, try to keep your prices around a target per-hour price of $45-$75 depending on your market and costs. If you consider it will take say 35 minutes to do a lawn at a casual pace (for you), charge around $50. Best to use a predictable and repeatable model like the per-hour pricing to buildup your experience in appropriately biding a property. it's important to remember your charging for your time and not necessarily the labor so do not work hard but train yourself to work safely & consistently.

I think those prices are too low. I would not base your pricing on your age

My yard just completely died this winter. I'm in Daphne AL. My centipede yard is gone. Only weeds. I really don't know what to do to get my yard back on track.

I would start mowing it that one and a half inches. In a month or so you should be able to tell if it's all completely dead or if there is still some centipedegrass left. Regular mowing will help get the weeds under control. If there is some grass left, then you can fertilize and help the grass start recovering

@lawncarelife wells I'm on track then. The dead spots, which are huge just fall apart when you walk across it. It looks like it just rotted away.

That spot almost looks like an island was there and someone took it up. Nice and round. Maybe install an island? 🏝🤔 I have a spot in my front yard (never the rear!) that has some bad seeds that left a bear 🐻 spot. Nasty!

I have a centipede lawn that has struggled due to over fertilization. As a result my soil is off somewhat and I’ve been invaded with patches of what appears to be parsley piert. Can you give me some suggestions or recommend a post emergent to help get rid of this problem?

Changeup is a good product for centipede Lawns. Use it while it is still dormant or wait to Greens up. Not during transition
