Hi! It's nice to have a lawn youtuber to watch in the PNW! I'm just south of Portland and have just been getting into taking care of the lawn at the house I rent since late last fall (when it was awful looking from the crazy hot weather and neglect). Right now it's looking much better but it's probably like 40% poa annua. So hopefully I'll be able to make some progress on that in the late summer/early fall with some new grass seed to out compete it. Look forward to seeing more of your stuff and I'm glad I found your channel!

Great video Nate! I am dealing with a bunch of self inflicted issues right now including fungus, bad drainage and bare spots from leveling. I made the mistake of trying to grow cool season grass in late spring during 80 degree temperatures which resulted in about 4 pounds of seed going to waste. Because I seeded I had to water throughout the day which resulted in fungus because of the humidity. I am going to apply my second app of fungicide this week. Not to mention I need to add 3” of topsoil to my lawn to resolve the drainage issues due to low spots. Now I know to do all of this in fall and stay away from late spring early summer seeding. Great video. I’m in Hazel Dell and came looking for solutions to fungus in my lawn this fall. I’m currently dealing with pink cotton candy like fuzz which leads to brown spots on my PRG for the second year in a row this time of year. You experience this issue? Any solutions? Much appreciated
