Eddie Hazel on the Guitar. RIP Eddie. Seen these guys five times, including just on May 24, and George Clinton is still on stage for the whole show, he is 80+, but grooving along just fine, thank you very much. And we did get a "Maggotbrain", one of the craziest Guitar Opus' ever written. Got a T shirt with that "radiant" young lady on the front. On the back in has the P-Funk motto, "Free your mind, and your ass will follow".

RIP Eddie Hazel….absolutely legendary. I believe George Clinton’s instruction to Eddie for this song was “play the first half like you just found out your mother died, then play the second part like you found out she was alive still after all”…. But don’t quote me on that.

Also this entire album is 10/10. “Night of the Thumpasaurus Peoples” is some killer funk!

On the reissue of the CD there is a bonus track of an alternate mix, which is pretty much the straight-up band take minus all the studio wizardry George Clinton added to it. It's clean, clear, and beautiful in its own way.
