Continually amazes me how Remco, at this point, is not one of the most well-known solo bassists and/or session musicians out there. The skillset to leave a footprint like that in the music scene is VERY MUCH there, with him.

To me, he's very similar to Les Claypool from Primus. What makes Remco differ from Les is the way he adds his thumb into his picking technique, as Claypool uses flamenco strums, slaps and standard fingering, but the general musical style shown here is very Claypool. Honestly I would pay to watch Remco and Les Claypool play together, it would be amazing
