That's me on the mic at 8:40 haha. Funland was great, Perry let us hold a lot of tournaments there. I went on to work at Las Vegas Soho (it's still there today) for 5 years. Tried my best to recreate Trocadero in that small space but it was tough. The very same VF 5 cab at 8:15 is in my house right now (it went to LV then I bought it before leaving). I just sold it to Freeplay City Arcade at Manor House. Nice video mate.

I loved this place, i used to visit it before segaworld even existed. It seemed to have every game in existence at a time when normally id visit seaside arcades on holiday and only see a few new ones.

I worked here in ‘97; my Dads friend invented “PFM” footfall monitoring system which he sold and installed to Troc management. Good times.

I used to work at Funland in 90's. It brings me great memories when I was studying in London. I t is so sad that is closed. I came back to London 25 years for a visit and I was expecting to visit Funland. It is so disappointing.

Monica Borowski hey ! I worked there too ...roughly the same time .... do you remember me at all ? You look familiar. Met so many amazing ppl when I worked there ! (My dad was one of the directors for the company who owned it... he’s passed away now 😔😔😔). Yeah I loved Funland and I’m gutted it’s gone ☹️

@@hannagibson9970 Hi Hanna is so cool! The name does not sound familiar. I remember my sweet manager from Scotland and the GM from Germany with a ponytail. If I am not mistaken his name is Max??? I had co-workers and friends from Spain, Brazil, New Zeland. I worked there for over 2 years in prizes and cash box.

Great memories! If you want to use my footage, just ask me, I would have said yes. I use KZbin licence not creative commons, so you should ask people before using their footage. Any one of your credits could remove this video from KZbin assuming you didnt ask them either, so something to bare in mind!! Thanks for sharing!

Good point. I would've but, it's quite challenging finding contacts for everyone as some accounts are inactive. So, I just went with the old credits system and assumed that would satisfy everyone. The video also serves to preserve Funland so, I think most people wouldn't really care too much. But, if anyone was unhappy with their footage being used, I would take the video down as there are a lot of problems with it and it generally doesn't get any views anymore. I'm thankful you pointed this out to me though.

The truth is i don't expect vr 90 is wierd now I have so mach better tenology and remenis in the same then every one try to make samethng different the only company remeins to do this Nintendo Then see every wer have different stuff different controller different idia yes meny of this not perfect but the trying make the perfect expirians I hope for the new copany to do the same for consoles or controller Imagine to make console the are like car and have only rasing game yes I will have only spefic type of games but I will be so mach better experience for what ever ps5 controller have in the resing games event if ps5 has beter graphics and that I will help the steering wheel controller in fucher my point the companies now try only to upgrade the privous console there nathing wrong about but way ther no one trying to make samethng different personality I don't have the money to do that but Im game developer and for haw I show the stuff wean I try to make consoles or controller for specific game or spefic type of games the have better results because disasing thing spefic perpose and that mising in the now the try to make consoles for everything that is impasable no mater what controller company do allway the spefic controller is better (except for the bad disasing controller or controller is not working properly) And you know the wierd part that I born 94 I didn't live arcade age
