Awh mannnn, if you’re a manga reader for Demon Slayer you know what’s up. I know the Hashira Training Arc was slow but I’ve read the manga in it’s entirety and I’m just glad to have more time to get to know the Hashira and see the demon slayers have good times… What comes in the Infinity Castle Arc is JUICY and it’s really no wonder that they’re going for producing 3 movies instead of episodes.

@@junglekxngtalksanime Yupppp! I feel like S4 E8 is only proof that they’ve upped their production and I’m so happy! Demon Slayer has a really great story line and it deserves to be showcased with a top tier level of animation. I really appreciated the slower moments in the Hashira Training Arc because I feel that it lends itself to the over arching story. Nothing lasts forever, life is precious. Even in the day to day monotony there is value. When Tanjiro challenges Muichiro to a paper airplane contest and asks that if he wins he will speak more kindly to the Demon Slayers he is training I think it drives home that life is precious and we are not promised even one more day. So why not spend a little more time being joyful, trying to show compassion/ kindness and just being grateful for one another. I know that in anime the fighting scenes get the most attention but with Demon Slayer there’s a lot of duality. There’s so much beauty in the softer moments of the story.

Thank you so much for the heads up about this arc. It's easy to get swept up in the fights and action of an anime then sweep levels of character development to the side. It was a comment like this that had me revisit S2 of Vinland Saga and I'm so glad I did bcuz that writing (imo) was a major chef's kiss. I had to make my fight cravings secondary and it was worth it. Thorfin's character growth/change made it make sense.
