I also allow my kids to have sleep overs at my house and with kids I know personally. However a few years back I found out that a close childhood friends dad was arrested for child p**n… I slept in that mans house more times than I care to remember and although he never did anything to me (THANK GOD) I’m now very wary of where I let my kids go. I thought that man was lovely very kind and always interested in what we were doing he was a pretty “cool dad” now I just feel sick. I read in the paper he had years and years worth. He lived across the road from me. So yeah I’m now scared to death of allowing my kids to stay out x

Ellis talking about NCS was mental. It was a lot of fun but that was mostly the first week where you went camping for a week. Then you’d go to a random Uni to plan a charity activity which in parts was fun, but there wasn’t many things to do in your free time. They did movie nights and stuff like that though. The third week was doing the planned charity events from week two. My group did a pub quiz and raised almost £300 and then we went to Aldi and bought a load of food/toiletries and other necessities and donated it all to the local food bank. Was really fun to do. Met a lot of new people for sure and solidified friendships I already had. Would definitely recommend people do it cause it broke up the monotony of not having anything to do after finishing exams for the summer. Also some of my friends did end up with girlfriends/boyfriends, but due to a lack of fellow gays that I found attractive, I didn’t end up with anyone.
