I do acro gymnastics. The most important part about being a base is being able to catch the flyer, even if they fall. I have always been told that it doesnt matter if you're hurt, you have to save the flyer

Scott Moir's fall was the highlight of this video. Such a great fall :D and what a good save from the blond couple at the beginning ! He really did a good job making sure his partner didn't hurt herself. Even if that meant tearing down her skirt (luckily he didn't). That's teamwork !

This sport amazes me. These athletes don't often get nearly the respect they deserve for how incredibly difficult it is and how much grueling training is required to compete at this level. They certainly are among the most conditioned athletes on the planet. ~JSV

For the pairs skaters at 1:08, this video might say it’s funny, but that actually could’ve been a very scary and dangerous situation if she would’ve fallen on her face. Props to him for reacting so quickly and saving her from falling 🥰

I don't think 0:53 was very funny...I mean thank god he didn't let her fall, but I found most people during that moment were worried for Tarasova because it could have gone bad very easily. Drops/ Falls like that can lead to serious injuries. Tripping over a board or skate is one thing, falling on your face from over 7 feet is another.
