Do any of you remember “The Blue Line” back just before 2000? A bunch of activists went around in San Diego. And painted a blue line across a bunch if buildings, about 4 feet or so up from the ground. Then they told us all that if we didnt submit to all thier demands. The sea levels would rise to meet those lines. The Blue Line was on all the news stations. In all the newspapers. Al Gore talked about. I myself.. have been there and have laid my hand on one of the blue lines. (Painted on the ocean-facing side of a little Mexican restaurant.) Of course. The dire predictions never happened. Very embarrassing for the left. And now today?… if you try to Google it. There is nothing. Ive tried. They’ve wiped that whole embarrassing bit of history out of the digital collective. But I remember. I have touched that painted line. It happened. I was there. But Google will tell you it never happened.

When you deny science without reasoning and contrary evidence ( which is also part of the scientific process) it doesn't make you left or right - it makes you a fool. You might also note that my comment was was not personal. I copied the informal - "you" rather than "one", and the comment was framed in exactly the same way as the original comment - so it was a broad spectrum comment, as was the original. Firstly, if folks can't take it, then maybe they shouldn't dish it out. Secondly, I can't remember the original quote, or who to attribute it too, but basically when folks acquiesce to stupidity/evil, they condone it. I watch a show called “Dragnet” which has different beginnings on one of them. It is reported that the ambient temperature in Los Angeles is 68° and if you check ambient temperature in Los Angeles today, it is 68° so over the last 55 years the ambient temperature has not changed 1° global warming…I don’t think so
