The Aussies all fly Qantas. The American pilots all get the joke and they just sass Steve right back. The funniest one was when a United pilot sassed, "yeah, but it's hilarious to see their faces!" I laughed so hard I almost choked!

I just love the transition between mental states indicated by his voice after he exclaims "did I miss you?". Up until that point KS is leisurely doing his job, then thrown into a state of confusion where he's working to regain situational awareness whilst still performing his duties, and is finally back on the ball again just a few transmissions later. How long was this period without editing? Regardless, I guess this is one of a few reasons why so (relatively) few are cut out for that job! Thanks again for your awesomely edited and scripted videos!

Only one person at a time can speak on the frequency. If two or more speak at once, there is interference and no one can hear what is being said. I guess it’s kind of like two people trying to talk at once on a Zoom call. It seems to happen a lot when things are busy, so they generally just repeat what they said and go on.

Because they seem to think if they're up first they can be the first off the plane. KS has the right idea though, once the seat belt sign is on it triggers the belts so you can't undo them until the sign is turned off.
