Today India is global supermarket. Everyone wants to win India's heart so that they can sell their products here. No other country on Earth would provide such an amazing and huge market. It's a very interesting ceremony but I think you don't really understand what it is if you think it is beautiful and gives you faith in humanity. Most of the Indians and Pakistani despise each other and so there is a highly militarized border between the countries you can even see from outer space. Skirmishes between the two sides often break out leading do quite a few deaths. Additionally they both have nuclear warheads pointed at each other, if a nuclear war were to happen it would certainly be between these two powers.
