Am I the only one who almost cried when Matsuda was captured and even doubted L was going to save him? I mean that shows just how badly they've treated him.

Soichiro and Aizhawa: Matsuda is annoying, but he's still a member of the task force and needs to be treated like one. Light and L: What is even this idiot doing here? This would go so much smoother without him. Me: Why is you so mean? He's new. How will he develop if he never gets a chance to do it?

Me: (*asks L how I look*) L: You look fine (without even looking at me) Me: (*sighs and leave*) Me: (*asks Light how I look*) Light: You are ugly as hell. Don't you ever go out like that. Me: (*gets hurt and leave*) Me: (*asks Matsuda how I look*) Matsuda: Wow! You are *so* beautiful. I mean, you've always been beautiful, but now you look like an angel. No, like a godess. No, even more beautiful. Me: (*turns red as a tomatoe*)

I love how even though Death Note is mostly serious it has unintentional comedy gold in it. 7:44-8:11 I remember laughing my ass off when I saw that moment on TV and afterword said "If it makes you feel any better Aizawa I still think your a badass". Also love throughout ep. 17 when Misa is constantly praising Light you can see Aizawa slowly lose his shit all culminating at 1:24-1:48 and the fact even Soichiro didn't even expect that when he was just about as done as Aizawa is just priceless.
@KitsunesTrove Жыл бұрын
Those are two of my favorite scenes as well. And yeah, Soichiro's expression when Aizawa stands up is funny, too. Plus, I just love Aizawa. He and Matsuda are my favorites.

I am not a girl who easily falls in love, but if I had a guy like Matsuda in my class, it would probably take just some minutes before I start to develop romantic feelings for him. I mean how can't more girls in this series be in love with him? Why are everyone into Light? Light is a narcissist who uses everyone who supports him.
@KitsunesTrove6 ай бұрын
I agree completely! They were always falling for Light and imo, he's not even that attractive. He constantly used, manipulated, and murdered other people. Matsuda is just so cute, sweet, and innocent. And imo definitely more attractive than Light is. I would certainly choose Matsuda over Light or L.

@@KitsunesTrove Well, I guess it's because Tsugumi Ohba made this series and from what I've heard, he's not the best at writing female characters. That's why the most women in this series are so easy to manipulate.

It's nice to hear from someone else who likes the Task Force. A lot of times, people don't really acknowledge them or they focus more on other characters or other aspects of the show. And I can see how relatable they can be if you come from a policing family for sure. I feel like each character on the Task Force is someone that people can relate to regardless. I absolutely relate to Matsuda. He snd Aizawa are actually my top two favorite characters!

@@KitsunesTrove yes, absolutely, he always had a very serious and strong loyality sense to his duty. And I like how he somehow managed to replace the father-like figure of Soichiro after Mello's hideout explosion and the death of the first. And being always so serious, like all of us that has no coice but to be like that for a difficult duty or situation, I cried with him when he met again with his family at the public park, after he left Lawliet's HQs. Family first, always. And nevertheless, he was in my opinion even superior to the others, because he came back to a will-fracturated police and never lost his sense to going on against Kira, ending up with the rejoining after the capture of Kira-H. And without his decision to go against him blocking the Wangan Loop it would have been impossible. If I may, I am a bit like him in my job, even if I have much much more time to spend with my dear ones. But for my job (I am an italian civil engeneer surveyor that works in the field of hydro power and has to do time to time work trips to monitor such structures for at least two weeks in a row in my country but afar from the Serchio Valley, (where there's my main workplace and my family lives) I must keep a strong will to be precise in my survelliance and precision measuraments since my work is one of heavy responsability over lives. But deep inside, I die every single time to come back home and play with my parents and my family... so I felt very related to him throughout the whole series.
@KitsunesTrove Жыл бұрын
You're absolutely right about all of it. It sounds like you have a very tough and demanding job. It must be hard to be away from your family for weeks at a time when you have to go on work trios. I can see how you would relate to Aizawa. Another thing I really liked about Aizawa is that he was the first person on the Task Force to suspect that Light might be Kira. Even doing his own investigation into Light and giving information to Near.

@@KitsunesTrove many thanks for the answer, very kind and sincere I appreceate honest-talking fellas like you. Yeah, dam-watchers (or dam guardians as we call it in Italy) can be seen outside like a overpaid and easy job to do (if you know what you are doing). The truth is, that is only the apparence... ok let's start with the fact that was my dream job since I was a kid both into motorsport and engeneering, choosing for my path of life the latter. And I would never ever go back on my steps, but yet, I am no hypocrite. It is hard, you must stay in a place doing routine tasks about the monitoring - some daily, some every two weeks, some to do monthly - and less they are frequent, more important they are, and they require 10 times more skill and mental stability. No room for error. In my valley, they are 14 dams. I am mostly in charge of the one from which all the other's water modulation for the dry season depends, having the 75% of the total accumulated volume. It also provides water for the most powerful hydro plant in Tuscany so far, and is the highest dam of it's kind along the Appennines Region (basically whole Italy except Alps, Sicily and Sardinia). We can take a vacations every season, but yet, we have to work for entite days and not so rarely, also do night shifts. You are there, and you must stay with you dam. But the key is to mantain the motivation for the job, you cannot have the right to make mistakes for a temporarely mental status. So, it's hard. And the main motivation (aside my personal passion) must be and indeed is, serve a nation, and do your job at perfection, to regulate the waters that must be used but yet be accumulated at the same times. Waters that, in these times, are very VERY precious, we are undergoing a never-seen before dry weather. And as last, but ofc not for importance, is the fact that from our meticolous precision in be the "doctors" of our dam, when we stay right on atop of it, gazing towards the horizon, you know that down there, under your sight, you have an entire valley of 100 km (60 miles) counting 150.000 inhabitants and an entire city of 700.000 persons right in front of the valley's mouth. And among these numbers, there are your parents, many of your friends, your family and an entire community. And when you turn around, you have a 100 meters deep lake containing something like 35 Billions of liters. And in beteen, what you have under your feets, is the most robust and great dam in the range of 500 kms. But you are the one in charge to mantain it safe and sound and be able to not make the thought that is indistructible prevail. It is, but then, why I am here? Because it isn't. So. Well, no. It's a fascinating, hard but so underrated job, at lest in terms of mental robustness and infrangibile will that the workers must have. And only if you do your work precise as a swiss clock, you can feel relief and joy when you are back to your dear family. If not, if you have a doubt in which you have done, no, you freeze in fear and you are always with the mind on the dam. So yes. It is a beautiful but hard job. But that's the magic of it I think. Knowing that yes, from you depends so much lives. But yet, you are doing fundamentally, in every task you do, saving them and helping them giving to your country green energy, create a beautiful lake, and create profit and turism for an entire community. And it's all thanks to you. Sorry I know that I am long when I start to make reasonaments, but I cannot help myself lol. Thanks for the attention my friend and have a good rest of your day. - From the Vagli Dam, from "Jo Lothar" G.

@@KitsunesTrove yeah about Aizawa, being the first to suspect of Light (or as I see it, the first WILLING to see Light as Lawliet was right and not go on as "he is the son of my ex-superior, he is in the police, I CANNOT EVEN THINK THAT HE COULD BE KIRA" like everybody else, before and since - Soichiro first as a father... - ) is really appreceable. It was an act of self-belief and detachament of his reasoning from the others, that just kept on going on like Soichiro wanted. I truely liked that and appreceted such a valorous act, without precedents from no one else - exluding Lawliet, Mello and Near.

Stranger things creater duffer brothers make a new live action movie on death note Do you think it will great
@KitsunesTrove Жыл бұрын
I've heard about this. I'm cautiously optimistic about it. I figure that is has to be better than the disaster that Netflix gave us in 2017. Though idk if I expect to be better than the live-action Japanese adaptations of Death Note. Imo, those were really good. Still though, since the Duffer Brothers created Stranger Things, they have a grasp on a genre similar to Death Note. They claim that they'll follow the source material, too. We'll just have to wait and see I guess. I will definitely give it a try though.
