Same with Ultima Online. _(Likely the most in depth game ever conceived of when it came to sheer player freedom over their own gameplay.)_ They could literally open themselves as a shop, show what recipes they could build, and would auto-craft for players for Gold. _(Pre-established prices that the crafter would set in their "Store Menu" before heading afk.)_ Occasionally they'd actually set themselves to accept material/item trades for the recipes. That way they could passively farm materials they needed for their own purposes by basically being a shop while they slept, ate, etc. A lot of players would have an alt account wherein that is ALL that character would do, 24/7/365. As long as their inventory, or bank bag, had the materials to build what the player selected - tada. Edit: seems I wrote a book in the heat of passionate nostalgia.

Honestly would be a pretty good game if they were able to find someone to make it. Be cool if they also had hidden dialogue you can hear only through game files or something
@armsofzeus2 жыл бұрын
The npc dialogue could be difficult. Just imagine the amount of dialogue you'd have to make for the most random of situations, like two adventures finishing a quest at the same time. It'd probably have to be a single player to fit all the humor, and be similar to Stanley Parable but with sentient NPCs. Just my thoughts.

Ben screaming that he'll despawn was cool, then the game ad kicked in exactly when he disappeared and my brain melted... never has a product ad been so on point. Kudos.

He runs into Britt's character again after months cycling into and out of the void, perception warped. He despawns during one of their encounters on midnight clock reset, gets recognized as a loose asset and gets patched elsewhere in the game. A quest to find one's friend and return them to their body ensues. Part 2 in the Baelin's Route trilogy.

On the episode "Trapped", there's actually an NPC like that in Red Dead Redemption 2 named Mad Preacher. You can encounter him around rivers up north. He was designed to be conscious about being an NPC and aware about the developers of the game.

OVER LEVELED: If the player is OL at 78 for the Guildmaster enemy, then the enemy shouldn't have a Red Skull level indicator unless the enemy levels up with the player. That enemy's level should have appeared instead of a skull and been grayed out.
