YES to all of this!! You helped me realise why Daphne felt like such a wet rag for the most part lol. Aside from the Daphne Moan, she was so... boring hahah. Miles (and Ashleigh and Julia) stole the show though! Also hard agree on the asinine timeline of most romance novels, that is one of the reasons why I liked Just for the Summer so much... we take a couple of months off to work on underlying issues before committing to a healthy relationship. Funny Story was still very fun though, I devoured it!!

I'm on the fence about reading more Emily Henry. I feel like I'm not often in the mood for her level of heavy when I want romance, so maybe this one will work better for me with the lighter tone.
